If - IF - you are someone who gave Amir the 11th and 12th rounds, then you must have had the fight as 10 rounds to 2 for Amir, PLUS a knockdown, plus a point deduction.

If you are one of the fans who gave Amir the championship rounds, then you must be very offended by the judges' scorecards, because your own scorecard said something like 118-109

I had Maidana winning 5 rounds in a fight where all he had was a punchers chance. Its not like Khan schooled him or anything, if anything Maidanas rugged style made Khan look vulnerable.
I scored exactly like you did.

Round 4 I gave to khan for throwing/landing more, I see how some could give it to maidana for aggression

Round 5, I gotta say maidana was being a douche the entire match, no sportsmanship whatsoever, I didnt see the foul Until one replay from a certain angle and yes he was trying to ELBOW someone don't know who it was for but Cortez got it. He didnt complain much, he was being a **** period.

Round 10 when Amir got rocked a few times, it's still a 10-9 round not 10-8 or anything because up until amir got his bell rung he was winning the round and the fact that he actually never fell LOL amazingly

I don't see how you can give round 11 to maidana, khan ran for a good 45 seconds but after that he was landing much more than maidana was, sure maidana was being the aggressive but he didnt land anything! Amir was connecting more

Round 12 mmm amir tries to steal the round late with some big flurries but I will give the round to maidana.

I laughed a few times because maidana almost went through the ropes twice in the match as amir ducked his shots I believe one was in round 10 that woulda been embarrasing LOL.

Last thought at the beginning of round 10 Maidana was SLOW getting off his seat - amir had to wait for him in the center. I think amir took this as a sign of him being tired - big mistake and got careless? I don't know if maidana did this on purpose but it worked LOL

My main reason for wanting a rematch is because I do not think that Maidana will respect Khan's power and will be much more aggressive (if possible). I think that bodyshot was a lifesaver for Khan.

In addition to the cushion on the cards, it sapped something from Chino.
This is the main reason I want to see a rematch. That bodyshot killed Maidana. He was ****ed for the first four rounds after that...I still don't know how he got up and out of the first round

One other reason is, as seems to be the usual these days, that ****ing **** of a **** Cortez. He is the single most biased self important asswipe ref in the sport.

I was walking out to the parking lot of the Mandalay Bay on the day of the fight and I passed Cortez who was going the other direction. As I passed him, I gestured and said "Joe Cortez.... Let Maidana fight on the inside tonight"

He looked at me like I was an assh*le. I knew he was gonna **** up the fight at that moment.

"punch and get out" is not in joe cortez's vocabulary.

Joe Cortez gave Maidana plenty of opportunities to get Khan out of there. Every time they got close Khan was holding onto Maidana not allowing him to work on the inside. Cortez split them up, and gave Maidana the space to land his shots. The fact is, Maidana wasn't good enough to stop Khan. Stop blaming the ref for Maidana's shortcomings.

I still gave round 10 a 10-8 to Maidana. He was almost gone, but he did show some determination. Like I said Maidana looked better than most people give him credit for. All he had was a punchers chance yet he was able to get inside and land those upper cuts. And I also don't get why some people are saying that Khan had good leg movement? Watch the fight again. He fights like his in the amateurs. His legs move all kinds of crazy even when he comes in. And he might be fast but he seems robotic when trowing more then 3 punches. His not like Pacman, he has to think how his going to land his punches when he lets his hands go. His not comfortable trowing combinations. His just a KO waiting to happen. (Again)

It's like saying "If Maidana never got hit, he would have won the fight!"

Not really. It's quite an interesting possibility that if he didn't get knocked down so early, it could have been much closer.

I do know what you mean though. "If he didn't get knocked out, he wouldn't have lost the fight" kind of thing, but considering the rest of the fight, it was that particular shot that set a lot up. It helped Khan win a great fight, but without it, what would the rest have been like?
