    About the KHAN-MAIDANA Scoring...

    ROTH: 114-111 Khan

    ROSS: 114-111 Khan

    TROWBRIDGE: 113-112 Khan

Now, keep in mind that was with a 10-8 round for Khan off the sweet bodyshot in the first round...and with Chino being deducted another point for fouling.

Did you guys have Maidana winning six rounds in that fight?

Unless you gave Maidana a 10-8 round for the 10th (?) when he had Amir hurt really badly.

113-112 is a ridiculous score, it wasnt that close. Khan won probably 8 rounds to 4, with each scoring a 10-8 round in the process, and Marocs losing a point for the elbow foul

Well, 113-112 is only one round different than the others, so I think it's tough to characterize it as "ridiculous" unless you thought the others were also very bad.

It's just that when I replay that fight IN MY MIND, I practically had Khan pitching a shutout until the 10th.

I need to go re-watch the entire fight.

I gave Maidana a 10-8 round. I believe I had 115-113, I have my score on a notepad. I have to look for it but I had Khan winning.

I had Khan definitely winning. Especially if I have to honor the foul.

My main reason for wanting a rematch is because I do not think that Maidana will respect Khan's power and will be much more aggressive (if possible). I think that bodyshot was a lifesaver for Khan.

In addition to the cushion on the cards, it sapped something from Chino.

fair enough ridiculous was maybe a bit strong, but Id say by round 10, Khan had won 8 of 9 rounds with a KD and a point deducted. Maidana gets 10-8 in 10, 10-9 in 11 and possibly 12

everyone remembers round 10, but people choose to turn a blind eye to the fact Khan near cut Maidana in half and if there was 30 seconds longer in Round 1, Maidana was getting stopped

For most people, they give greater weight to how the fight ends than how it begins. So I think that is what is at play regarding the 1st round bodyshot.
