        Ali is borderline Top 10?

        What the hell. Yup and Michael Jordan is a borderline top 10 ATG basketball player.

        Goodness. Talk about when trying to sound knowledgeable goes wrong.

            I don't think anyone argues Ali wasn't great.

            But people tend to overrate him because he was so charismatic and popular..
            and they confuse his nickname with reality

              He could call himself whatever he wanted. He earned that right. I mean like I said I think he's around top 10 P4P ATG. That's nothing to sneeze at. It's no insult no matter how many gay ass Picachu/jersey shore fans want to think it is.

              And, to be fair to Ali he did say SRR was the P4P the greatest.

              I love Ali. But, when you're looking at resume an accomplishments...You can't put him as the GOAT.

              Look at Greb he beat what? Like 13-14 HOF'ers? It's some crazy outrageous number. And, he did it with just one eye? Faggot ass fan like Kev, who at one point in time could see from just one eye. Should know how difficult it is to move around. Let alone box and beat 13 HOF'ers numerous times with just one eye.

              Langford, went from LW to HW beating Greats like Joe Gans to Joe Jeannette along the way. That shows how great he was.

              Love Ali. And, I do believe Ali fought in the greatest HW era of all time. And, from 1965-1975 that was the best time for HW. And, Ali was #1....And, what he stood for outside the ring I respected. But, as for the sport of boxing goes...He was the greatest HW IMO(some can make a case for Louis) but not the greatest P4P fighters. Especially not over the likes of SRR, Greb, Langford, and Armstrong. Which is no insult again.

                IMO............

                Yes. When I said GREATEST OF ALL TIME. That went for everybody. Whether its Greb, Armstrong, Langford, Louis, Pep, Charles, whoever.

                One thing that is EXTREMELY annoying is people acting like because Ali was arguably the most popular ever fighter means that somehow hes this media created hype machine who cant possibly have a case for being the GOAT. Cant stand that shyt.

                  No Ceilings;

                  Could you account for why Ali is greater than SRR?

                  I'd put Ali top10 atg, but your analogy to Jordan is ******.

                    robinson definitely a point. but why is greb greater than ali? because he beat more ppl? because he fought guys much bigger than him? or because u have seen him fight? or because you got the words out of the mouth of some boxing scribe?

                      Bro Oscar DeLeHoya is charismatic and popular no one confuses him with being the GOAT. I hate when the great Ali is made out to be myth that the media created. Its a slap in the face to career he put together.
