Impossible when both Greb and Langford have a case to being rank higher than SRR.

Ali is borderline top 10 ATG P4P.

SRR, Greb, Langford, Armstrong, Charles, B. Leonard, are all greater than Ali. Better resumes and accomplishments.

Pep and Ross are arguably greater as well.

Fitzsimmons and Duran can have a case to being greater as well.

Because, he was more popular, more famous.

Ali was great no doubt about it. Damn good fighter. They would never be no other Ali.

But, he's closer to borderline top 10 ATG than actual P4P GOAT. And, that's no disrespect. That's quite a compliment.

I think people just want to get in all the history talk and go against common knowledge says, to look like historians. You ask a 50+ year old who are the best, he will say Robinson, Ali, Armstrong, or something along those lines, give or take one. These guys in there 20s[i'm in my 20s but I don't try to be some historian know at all] and 30s use internet and researching all day, frustrated to be some kind of historian, looking in to things way too much and really want to be seen, want to stand out. Not knocking them, but I rather listen to what a bunch of old men who had no computers and were actually around all that shit.

this is the thing, i cant in my honest opinion ever pick a guy like greb or langford over ali. i kno what these guys did, amazing feats. they astound me. thing is ive never seen them. i have to go with other ppls words for it, or look at records. that only tells a shell of a story. i saw what ali did, how he shook america and the world. i know every single big name on his record and how he beat them. i kno what he went thru, etc. its not like im picking an inferior person or fighter over these guys. im just picking what i, myself, can prove. im not gonna try and be aboxing historian and pretend i spent a great portion opf my life trying to dig up tapes from these guys, its just not true.
