Is MMA getting bigger than boxing?

Oh and just to show my point look at the boxers that went to k-1 they all fell face first when fighting top kickboxers.Even Tyson had a contract to fight in k-1 but someone must have talked some sense into him because he never did.

The ufc is garbage.
The only fighters worth seeing in this org are George saint Pierre and David Loiseau. (both canadians). These guys are wasting their time in the ufc.

this is how a world champion sambo fighter fights under pride rules. (basically, a sambo artist allowed to use stomps, ground and pound, knees etc..) Fedor is a judo/sambo expert.

No one in the ufc fights like this..
Their champion arlovski , ufc's #1 was owned by Rizzo.
Rizzo entered pride fc 3 or 5 months ago and got killed in less than 2 minutes by sambo elite sergei kharitonov.

Arlovski was also a kid when he fought Rizzo no way is he the same fight now. Rizzo was very very washed up when he entered Pride a few months ago. You cant use that as a comparision.

No offense but that is because you're ignorant about the sport of mma it takes tons of cross training in all types of styles to even be be an above average fighter now in mma.Most top mma fighters train in boxing,kickboxing,bjj,and wrestling you gotta be an adaptable athlete in mma you can't just be a one discipline fighter anymore those days are over.

True. No idea why he decided to try out Pride so late in his career. They did put him against a new comer, because Kharitanov hasn't been doing MMA too long (as far as I know). I'd say that Pride FC has the much better fighters than UFC but its management is not great because they bring in all these wrestlers to fight real fighters just for the fans. They also will put Shamrock vs Sakarabu as the main event of their next event, which is insane. I guess they are crowd pleasers. UFC, there aren't many fighters who you can ask a average UFC fan about and he will tell you that he knows except for maybe Liddel and Shamrock and those guys from the reality tv show like Forrest Griffin (who got knocked the **** out in his first ppv fight).

Actually I post in here quite a bit just not all the time some of threads in here are the same old **** over and over.When I see something that sparks my interest I'll post.
