That's not true Many people think of him as a bum who lives off his daddy name. He's not even in Canelo level as a "superstar" goes. It was about money and i agreed. Pirog doesnt bring any so he needs more fights against quality to prove he is a quality opponent. Nowawdays casual fans and the money they bring are what matter. Like team Martinez said they need to get him more fights in the US. Chavez cause of his fathers name has a built-in following. So that is the most money. Roach is the trainer of Chavez and when Martinez called him out why didnt he say Martinez wasnt that good then? Now he has this new fighter and all of the sudden Martinez is not good. So why not have faith in your fighter and offer Chavez as well? Plus a win by Martinez or Chavez in this fight would catepult the winner to bigger name and get him a bigger fight.

Like i said i dont think Chavez is good but wouldnt you love to see Arum's hypejob get exposed? And if Pirog wins and keeps winning that that will be an even bigger fight.

Lol, Martinez is scared to death to fight a live fighter, but it's up to Pacquiao to fight the guy just to prove what exactly? I know Sergio would be a tough fight for Manny and all that. But why not Martinez fight these dudes like Golovkin and Quillin to prove that he is heads above the rest.

Pacquiao don't have to fight guys like Berto, Paul Williams, or even Victor Ortiz to prove a point. I'm not saying I don't want to see Pacquiao in a tough fight. But lol at these people who think those three guys would be any kind of challenge for him. Just like Ortiz won't be any kind of challenge for Floyd Mayweather.

Basically what I'm saying is it is a more forgone conclusion that Pacquiao would beat guys like Victor Ortiz and Andre Berto than it is Martinez beating guys like Golovkin, Pirog, or Quillin. Does that mean Pacquiao should fight bums? No. Of course not. But Pacquiao has more of an excuse to pick and choose his fights because he is fighting way above his natural weight and Martinez won't even fight any good fighters in his own natural weight class. I give him some credit for the Pavlik win. But even that has fizzled out and he didn't even beat him as impressively as Hopkins did.
