Lol, Martinez is scared to death to fight a live fighter, but it's up to Pacquiao to fight the guy just to prove what exactly? I know Sergio would be a tough fight for Manny and all that. But why not Martinez fight these dudes like Golovkin and Quillin to prove that he is heads above the rest.

Pacquiao don't have to fight guys like Berto, Paul Williams, or even Victor Ortiz to prove a point. I'm not saying I don't want to see Pacquiao in a tough fight. But lol at these people who think those three guys would be any kind of challenge for him. Just like Ortiz won't be any kind of challenge for Floyd Mayweather.

Basically what I'm saying is it is a more forgone conclusion that Pacquiao would beat guys like Victor Ortiz and Andre Berto than it is Martinez beating guys like Golovkin, Pirog, or Quillin. Does that mean Pacquiao should fight bums? No. Of course not. But Pacquiao has more of an excuse to pick and choose his fights because he is fighting way above his natural weight and Martinez won't even fight any good fighters in his own natural weight class. I give him some credit for the Pavlik win. But even that has fizzled out and he didn't even beat him as impressively as Hopkins did.

Come on bro. You can't compare Hopkins win over Pavlik to Sergio's win over Pavlik. Martinez went up in weight to fight Pavlik but Pavlik went up in weight to fight Hopkins. I agree that Hopkins looked better against Pavlik but he was fighting the smaller guy. You can't compare the two.

Sergio vs Chavez is a great hype fight for boxing. When you win a world title you should be ready to take on anyone that threatens it. Sergio should not have to go up to 168 when he can easily make 154-157. Both Floyd and Manny need to fight Martinez @ 154 if they really wanna be considered P4P #1. There is no excuse. If Manny can fight for Sergio's title he can fight Sergio.

none of them have beat anyone. pirog hasnt beat anyone either. neither has quillen and neither has golovkin. mebbe if they fought each other and got some great wins theyd have a good argument. ppl cant deny they seem to have skills but at the end of the day, they havent made their names mean anything. the barker fight is indefensible tho. i agree. i see nothing wrong with the chavez jr fight over either of those 3 guys tho. sturm is supposedly the 2nd best fighter in the division but that obviously proves to be false also.
