none of them have beat anyone. pirog hasnt beat anyone either. neither has quillen and neither has golovkin. mebbe if they fought each other and got some great wins theyd have a good argument. ppl cant deny they seem to have skills but at the end of the day, they havent made their names mean anything. the barker fight is indefensible tho. i agree. i see nothing wrong with the chavez jr fight over either of those 3 guys tho. sturm is supposedly the 2nd best fighter in the division but that obviously proves to be false also.

JCC Jr on his best day couldn't beat Pirog or Quillin on their worse day.

Nothing wrong with fighting JCC Jr. But, lets be real is a money grab. He doesn't deserve it more than Pirog. It just because he brings more money. So don't come in here and act like Martinez is taking on all comers or wanting to fight the best because Quillin and Pirog are better fighters than JCC Jr and Barker. However, JCC jr brings more money and that's what he's looking for at his age. And, there's nothing wrong with that call it like it is though.

Don't also come in here and say that Pirog, Quillin, and Govolkin need to fight each other. But, not put JCC Jr in it with them.

Why is everybody so eager to watch this crappy as fight is beyond me? Is it because people can say "I told you so" or because they can laugh at Roach or Arum? Is that more importantly than actually having the best possible fight? If that's the case then what kind of boxing fans are you guys?

i never said they need to fight each other. my point is, if they are all at middle weight they are all looking for the big fight, does it make sense that they crowd around and wait for serg to choose them or should they go out and make their worth bigger? since when has it been ok to beat up on prospects and bums and get fast tracked to a title fight because u demand it? none of them deserve to fight serg, neither does jr. the point is, i find it hard to fault serg for his choice when u have these supposed top fighters lining up and demanding something they clearly havent done enuff to deserve? do we give them the benefit of the doubt or do we give the proven fighter?

As far as Pirog is concerned... He has a vacant belt he picked up.... I don't count that... neither does the general hardcore boxing fan... That being said, Barker also has a vacant EBU belt...

Watced USA lose to Japan. shame but oh well. Now the Barker fight is signed already and happening. But where was Roach when Martinez called out Chavez Jr? Was he saying the Martinez was not that good then? But now that he has a fighter that he wants to build up is Martinez not good. Come on now. Pirog will get his chance. But fine. How about Roach calling out Pirog or Rubio or Geale for his fighters? Because they dont bring money or prestige

Kinda ironic that Mayweather won't fight Pacquiao, and yet Roach won't let Pacquiao get in the ring with Martinez. Martinez will fight both on the same night if he has to. The only reason Martinez is fighting Barker is that essentially everybody else turned him down. Arum won't let Pacquiao, Cotto, Cintron, Margarito, and Chavez fight Martinez, Mayweather certainly won't fight him, and GBP is too protective of their cash cow Alvarez to pit him against any real opposition. Roach, I hate to say it, but you're so full of **** these days.
