these big fights won't happen because no one is willing to risk the payday. Honestly, i can't blame them if they want to protect their money but unless fans start to jump off of these guy's bandwagon, they will continue to fight safe fights.

You're saying that the fight doesn't make any sense. But, still willing to give him a pass for taking such a fight. While asking these other guys to fight so and so...That doesn't make any sense to me.
Yes it's totally fine for Martinez to look at JCC Jr. Because, it's a money fight and Martinez is what? 36yrs old? However, lets get it clear that this is a money fight and nothing more. JCC Jr is not ready for such a fight maybe never will be, and NO JCC Jr is not more deserving than the likes of Pirog or Golovkin for that matter. Nor is JCC Jr better than Pirog, Golovkin, or Quillin. Hell like I said before I think Rubio might spark him out.
And, you can't say that JCC Jr should "man up" while telling the ones who want to "man up", but yet being ignored, to fight so and so first.
I got no problem with Martinez fighting Barker considering his recent resume', and the fact that he cannot land a money fight. He is 36-37yo, will be retiring in less than two years, so we will not be seeing a lengthy middleweight reign anyways.
This is just a stay-busy fight, which could offer the opportunity to open some doors (marketing-wise) in the EU.
Now if Martinez were to fight two Barker's in a row, or four like Pacquiao has, then that would be an entirely different story.

Jro is right, he is a better opponent than Barker thats for sure.

You can actually kill 2 birds with one stone in a Pirog fight. You would unify and stay busy at the same time.
But, no. Pirog is not worthy and I quote Dibella "fuck Pirog" and this is pretty much the sentiments that "boxing fans" have on the matter. Which is quite laughable but it's whatever. Lets enjoy the Darren Barker massacre.

I question the posters who defend such contradiction. Instead of calling a spade a spade.
* He said before that he dont want to give size advantage so he is not planning to move to 168lbs but he is calling smaller guys from 147 lbs.
* Pac is always fighting left overs but he is calling Cotto
* Team Sergio said that sergio is always fighting elite fighters and JCC is a bum, and why they calling JCC?
Sergio deserves Big payday but like what Pac and Floyd did, they bend to the demand of the Cash Cow (DeLa Joya)
