  • I wish nothing but the best for Martinez. Freddie Roach is the one of the best trainers in the business but he needs to leave the smack talk alone.

Martinez beats Quillen, Chavez Jr., Vanes, Pacquiao, Margacheato, and Cotto. To bad Evil Bob will never allow that to happen.

its undeniable that at middleweight theres:

      Martinez

      then....

      Everyone else.
Actually Quillin beat anyone put in front of him. He rocked Lowry, a WBF lm contender. Then he was the underdog that beat Echols, who I personally witnessed in Canada, Hopkins say was one of the best fighters he ever fought. He proved he could bounce back from a beating when he fought Miranda while he was ranked top 10 in the world. And most recently demolished IBF sm contender Brinkley in much better fashion than the IBF sm Champ Lucian Bute did. So, once again, he will beat anyone placed before him.

Dibella should just keep quiet as well.
DiBella wanted Quillin and it didn't pan out. Although he did make his debut at his event. DiBella is protecting his income. Point blank. He even got involved with the whole Twitter thing and pretty much sounded like a punk because he knows Quillin is legitimate and a real Middleweight. He walks around Super Middle!

          • Chavez JR is not a great fighter. He got caught over and over again by Zbik who does not have much power behind those fists of his. With those shots he was landing early in those rounds, a fighter with a more powerful fits like Sergio would have killed Chavez JR. They will duck this fight till the last second before his belt gets stripped. I really hope Martinez gets to unify all the belts in the division in the near future.

yes, and that all amounts to? what does quillin have that makes him a contender? its not resume. its not a belt. its not money. hes not proven. no1s clamoring to see this fight. quillin has to have chips, he has to beat good fighters not ok fighters. thats how u get to the top. he do that and ill be the first one on his bandwagon.

Good post, I agree. And, JCC JR hasn't even beaten "OK fighters" but damnit he needs to man up. However, lets downplay, degrade, and ignore the ones who want to "man up".

LOL.. maybe just his #1 fan. I've been there since before the beginning and I've never seen him so focused. Pirog deserves a shot as well and I wouldn't be upset if he got it first. But NO ONE can justify Darren Barker. He fought opponents with records like 20-73, 12-83-4, 17-67-4, 27-47-2. And he gets Martinez? Dibella mentioned Quillin (Not Pirog) in this article and has been seriously contradicting his reasoning. I thought that is what this thread was about? Besides, i'm much better looking than Quillin! LMAO

the thing about jr is he is a big money fight. and hes beaten his share of ok fighters and i dont think hes a great fighter by any means. but i do not see anything wrong with serg picking jr over quillin, pirog, nor golovkin. quillin is the most impressive of the bunch going by their last fights. but he still has to bring something to the table that makes martinez jump.

martinez fighting barker makes no sense to me. but i would have no issue with him snatching up jr's belt and a career payday. hes done enough to deserve it so i give him the benefit of the doubt. i, by no means, think hes afraid of fighting any of these guys.

Do you do any research before saying anything? He has the USBO sm belt. It's not a major but he has no control over that. Lucian Bute will not fight him. He has 7 title defenses against absolutely no one. Quillin is a true fighting Middleweight. I'll save you a seat on his bandwagon. I'm still waiting for someone, anyone to tell me who has Barker fought. I thought that's what this thread is about. There is a reason freddi keeps mentioning Quillin. If this was a movie, it would be called foreshadowing. That's giving you a clue on what's going to happen later in the movie.
