probably the best fight lewis had in his life

vitali is a terminator- in his prime he couldn't be beaten or knocked down

    only outboxed

lewis was a supreme boxer with a hugely underatted chin- he needed a strong chin to take on vitali

    both guys are greats

but something about an unbeatable fighter like vitali really makes for a great match up VS anyone in boxing history

i think sonny liston had the strongest punching power in history and would love to see a vitali liston fight

there has never EVER been any suggestion by Commentators, Analysts, Journalisht, interviewers {in fact by NOBODY}, that Lewis liked to "play psyche games" with his opposition. UNTIL NOW.....These guys keep coming up with something new all the time to try to make out that Lewis was going to win the fight with Klitschko when it was CLEAR to everyone, including ALL 3 commentators and analyst (who rarely ever concurred on anything) that Lewis was finsihed that he was lucky etc.etc.

Now we find that Lewis was indeed a boxing genius (undiscovered it's true...) and put his face deliberately in the way of a massive amount of Klitschko's punches to psyche him into believing that he was winning. He was even able to fool us all into believing that he could hardly walk to his stool.......

And we only discover all this NOW. I suppose that NEXT, we'll discover that Lewis also deliberately put his jaw in the way of Rahman's and McCall's fists so as to make sure he was KO'd, ALL just to FOOL us simple folks........

A bloody genius he is.....I don't mean Lewis, I mean the guy, the poster who has thought up this fantastic (in the true meaning of the word) excuse for his being beaten up and never fighting again.

I must ask him to do my income tax returns for me, I need someone with REAL imagination.

What do you mean by "was going to win?" He won.

I just hate Ali, man. Hate him so much.

Hey, in my defence I only watch Ali-Holmes and Ali-Berbick twice a week now.

I'm just playing I don't watch them at all anymore. As much as I dislike the guy I am very saddened by his condition.

Ali-Frazier I pretty much watch every other day, though.

what a surprise, you ignore the comments regarding Johnson-Ruiz, which you likely didnt watch at all.

How about you wake up and see what actually happened. Lewis was exhausted and took a lot of punishment. but so did Vitali, and Vitali's face was torn to shreds in multiple places, including the inside of his mouth. watch that final 6th round, Lewis hurts Vitali with a short right hand to the head that forces Vitali to hold on desperately, and then in the closing seconds eats a short right uppercut followed by a left hook. bad signs.

Oh, I appreciate Ali. By God do I appreciate him.

As a fighter, I have endless respect for Ali.

The reason I hate him so much is because he's so damn good!

When he said he was the greatest and how he would make mince meat of Joe Louis before he had done anything to support that argument, I hated it.

Turns out he made a pretty decent argument for it

Still doesn't change my desire and satisfaction to see him getting beaten to a pulp.
