[QUOTE=esl_4_u;10834017] After the reading several posts about the Klitschko brothers versus Lewis, I decided to carefully watch the fight again. I watched rounds 4-6 twice. I have to say first off that I wasn't a Lewis fan until after his retirement and watching his fights over and over.
If you pay attention to Lewis's behavior and ring generalship in all of his fights win, lose, or draw, you'll see that Lewis even when tired likes to play psyche games with his opponent. You see this with Holyfield, Tyson, Rahman, and Briggs specifically. You can see where he over exaggerates his fatigue in order to lure his opponent into a sharp punch. In the Klitschko fight you can see him doing this over and over.
Pay attention to his jab in rounds 4-6...extremely stiff jabs that stop Vitali in his tracks. Look at the momentum. Who has momentum in the fight in those rounds? Who's demeanor is changing? Who starts to hold more and more? This holding is not of strategic manner rather it is because he (Vitali) is taking too much punishment.
I say Lennox easily wins that fight had it continued in the next round or two by KO.
Lastly, Wlad vs. Lewis, it unfair to compare Wlad of today and Lewis of yesterday. So lets say they fought after this fight. Wlad can't take punishment like his brother can, he's faster and also less powerful. Wlad could win by decision fighting a perfect fight, but Lennox destroys him within 5 rounds easy.
what were you watching? klitschko by KO EASY!!! lewis had no chance in that fight aside from the cut on vitali. YOUR ASSESSMENT IS RIDICULOUS!!!Comment

I am no Lewis fan but people forget one big point. Lewis was training for someone else. Vitali was a late addition. That said Vitali got the **** beat out of him. 65-70 stitches. top the madness.Comment

So what? Vitali was training for someone else as well. Think it through before you post.
Vitali got cut by a dirty move. Lewis got the crap beat out of him. Try watching the actual fight instead of the one of your fantasies.Comment

Fair point about Vitali but I think finding out you are fighting for the title because your opponent isn't available is different then having to defend your title against a new opponent.
Bottom line. Lennox TKO 6. Vitali 65-70 stitches. On 2nd thought they should've let the fight go on so Vitali could change his name to Vital.
