I already said this...Louis' punches were textbook. everyone was thrown with precision and power. The reason I believe that Lennox' straight right was better though is because of the range/leverage/force he got behind it. Lewis wasn't some wide swinger with that right hand either. His cross and uppercuts were both thrown quickly and accurately. I just think the range/power aspects set it apart.
lewis' right hand was better because it was stronger?... a lot of boxing experts (me not being one of them) would say thats a rather amaturish statement, no offense.

louis' right hand was superior in every way except for range and power. but range and power shouldnt decide what was the better punch. lewis threw his right hand as a sloppy overhand right. very rarely was it used as a cross. yes, lewis also had an excellent jab, hook, and uppercut. but like i said, many of his punches were sloppy KO-intended punches. louis threw his punches with intent to do damage, not to just KO the guy and be done with it.

except for lewis' jab, he was a sloppy puncher. joe louis was never sloppy.

        Lewis vs Skelton

Lennox Lewis vs Matt Skelton would be a good fight.

Ive seen Skelton fight and they fight very similarly...

        His record is 17-0 (16 KO's)

Lewis was KO'd in three by Rahman, and he beat an old Tyson 17 years in the game...**** two years later Danny Williams beat Tyson . A year after Lewis Holyfeild went to war with Ruiz...both Holyfeild and Tyson should be ranked ahead of him..

That's where we disagree. I believe that Lewis' right hand was usually very accurate and well used.

I've seen about 7 or 8 Lewis fights...and I hardly noticed him throwing it in sloppy fashion.

EDIT: ESPECIALLY towards the end of his career^^^

Lewis's right hand was his weapon in the game.. he would use his strong jabs..but hes looking for that power punch, the knockout punch he would swing a right.

against a prime larry holmes(i hope thats waht you meant) i see at as close decision, both got a good chance too win.

                    ll ko`s roy jones

                    ll beats tony by ud

                    ll ko`s ruiz

prime wk against ll could go either way, but by ko, 2 huge, hard hitters with weak chins.
