One thing's for sure, it's gonna be the hardest fight pacquiao has ever had.
Floyd is the smartest fighter I ever seen and i've been watching boxing for a long time. He and Pernell Whitaker.

Fights I was too young to watch, I went and watched later in my life.
Like Ray Robinson(the footage that they do have on him)
    Ali,Leonard,etc.

All the greats. Mexican,Black, Puerto rican, Uk, White, etc.

The best fighter I ever seen P4P is a prime Roy Jones Jr.
Even though he fought alot of bums during his prime, he still did things that no other fighter could do or would atempt to do.

Based on pure skill they may have an argument in stating that Mayweather is in the top 15 or 20, but even that is difficult to judge considering his level of opposition.
But, no one is claiming the person they mentioned is the greatest fighter of all time.

They are simply saying (Or so I imagine) that that person is the the most skilled/gifted/talented fighter they have seen perform live.

Nothing to do with resume, greatness, or accomplishment.

Most people on here are not much older than 30 hense why the most skilled/talented/gifted fighters they have seen in their lifetime are the likes of Mayweather, Jones Jr, Lopez and Whitaker. Not really suprising as they are a handful of the most talented or skilled fighters of recent memory.

Even then those fighters are amongst the most gifted/talented/skilled fighters in History regardless and that's pretty much all that's being said here.

        That doesn't mean anything.
Floyd had two good fights with Castillio that went the distance.
Hatton on the other hand KO'D Castillio with a body shot.

        Then Mayweather KO"D Hatton
        Whats your point?

Roy in his prime....NEVER seen anybody as good...NEVER!!!!!....Floyd and Pea are cut from the same cloth imo...if Floyd was a lefty he would be compared to Pea every telecast...trust me!!...all 3 are boxing gods imo...but Roy is like the Zeus of all the boxing gods in my book...

You like Pac and that's pretty much it.

You used to talk about Haye sometimes but since he lost you aren't a fan of his anymore so now it's only Pac I guess.

How much footage on Ray Robinson have you seen?
Were you at any of his fights?

There isn't that much footage on Robinson.
You act like you saw his entire career.

floyd is the most skilled fighter ive ever seen. i mean all aspects of boxing he has mastered. i think hes more skilled that roy or pea. i think his skill level is on a level with finito. i dont think that makes him the best. id proly say in my lifetime the best would be sweet pea as far as his resume, his skill, his athleticism in total id vote for him.

I've seen fights of some of those because of the trading block, not full fights, but enough to see how they fight, except Langford, haven't seen him fight. Sure they were some of the most dominant fighters in boxing history, but to me they weren't the best I have seen. And if you're gonna sit there and still go against my opinion then that is just you stressing yourself out. Cause to me a prime Roy Jones Jr would beat anybody P4P. He's just the best fighter I have ever seen and just a fighter that in his prime would, would have made any fanbase come up with any excuse after he beats their favorite fighter. Hopkins was too green as a prop, yet they had the same amount of pro experience, James Toney was weight drained, he beat cab drivers yet Gonzalez took Dariousz 0 after losing to Jones, Jones is the active fighter with the most wins over undefeated fighters on his resume, with something like 9 or 10.

But whatever, it's not even his wins, it's his style and how dominant he was in his prime. No one beats prime Jones. No one in the history of boxing beats a prime Roy Jones, I don't care how many fighters I haven't seen. It would be the ******est thing to bet against a prime Roy Jones, P4P. Give me a 1994-1999 Roy Jones over any one pound for pound. But that's too much though, let's make it easier, give me the 2000-2003 Jones over anybody instead, cause 94-99 Jones murders any one, at least 2000-2003 Jones just dominates them, but keeps them alive.
