The best THEY've ever seen. They are not speaking for the whole world.

Look at the thread title, the OP is claiming Floyd is the best he's ever seen.

Go make a top 10 songs list on Youtube and watch how many critics you will have. Boxing is no different, you can make a top 5 boxers you've ever seen, and you will get criticized by some fake historians or people who just disagree with you. Nobody is wrong, nobody is right. It's just personal preference. Some one can say Arturo Gatti has been the best fighter they've ever seen, I would disagree, but that's just their opinion and there's nothing I can do about that.

I just read a bunch of posts from people saying that Mayweather is the best they have seen or others countering that Jones Jr. and Whitaker are better. No mention of Robinson, Pep, Armstrong, Langford, etc. This means they need to watch more boxing. Based on pure skill they may have an argument in stating that Mayweather is in the top 15 or 20, but even that is difficult to judge considering his level of opposition.

Some great fighters dominate from the outset of the fight, but floyd doesnt dominate from the outset, gets hit a few times and then figures his opponents out, and that is supposedly better than someone who basically dominates from the outset?

lol another one. Yes the best they've seen, thats obvious. It should also be obvious then when I state that they need to see more boxers. Its really not that hard to understand. And its not opinion to say what is said in this thread. Its either true or false. Favorite is not being mentioned.

Floyd is great because he nearly got knocked out by 40 year old SSM, but then figured SSM out and SSM was never able to land the punch again.

Pac on the other hand dominates from the outset and never lets SSM get a sniff of knocking him out.

WHy do they NEED to see every other fighter in history just to have a diffirent opinion? Because it annoys you that they don't share the same opinion as yours?

But Pac beat the better JMM, and not the bloated one. He was shop worn from Pac as well. Floydies use that excuse enough times, i might as well use it as well. I am a floydie as well though. Im a big Floyd fan. Dont mean i think hes the best.
