Mayweather is the best fighter I have ever seen

I referenced the Sweet Pea v Trinidad fight for a reason. Pea was old, coupled with the fact he fought bouts with a coke addiction as well, yet he still competed. At that time Tito was a monster. For a "old" man who didn't take care of his temple the way he should have, and who didn't have enough pop to keep Tito from walking him down, to go out there and legitimatly compete with Tito is a marvel to the mans skill set. You take the same aged Roy, and he's out here not even competing with fringe contenders. I'm not taking anything away from Roy, but physical advantages only go so far. My youth coach used to tell us all the time, "I don't want to hear about what you did on your good day...tell me what you did on your bad ones." That sticks with me to this day. It's easy to say how good Michael Jordan was when he was the most athletic player in the game. When you're no longer the fastest player on the court, highest flyer, etc and you still dominate your sport...that's when you can appreciate a man's skill set..not the gifts that came from up above. Once Roy's once in a lifetime physical advantages disappeared, so did his abilities. The same can't be said about Sweet Pea.Comment
