Comments Thread For: Wladimir Klitschko: Chisora is a Logical Choice To Fight

I don't think that Chisora is that great of an opponent, but Wlad has already beaten around half of the top heavyweights, one of the other top heavys is his brother, one of the others is about to fight his brother, and another top heavyweight (Povetkin) has ducked him twice.
I'd like to see Chisora-Dimitrenko with the winner facing Wlad. But the truth is that I don't give anyone a chance of beating him so it's hard to be too concerned about him facing someone who is still a bit underdeveloped skillswise. At least with guys like Chisora and Arreola, they are likely to come out and really give it a go until they get knocked out. None of this running away and hoping Wlad makes a mistake.
Does anyone have a link to the full interview? I saw a bit of it on Sky Sports News, Wlad was talking about how Fury is young and so he has a lot of time, but that he (Wlad) would not want to be that young because at that age you have so much to learn and experience etc.
Seemed like an interesting interview but sadly I missed almost all of it.

I thought I read somewhere in an earlier post that you were unbiased? Well, I have to say that you dislike for the Klit bros is starting to show a little, right along with your arrogance.Comment

Oh get it, if I find something humorous about Wlad it's "biased", but if someone makes fun of something I have backed up with facts it's ok. I gotcha! Nice set of double standards! As far as my so called arrogance.....how is it arrogant to back up every single thing you've said with facts?
As Chopper pointed out, humor is a subjective thing. Get over it.Comment

I told you I have nothing personal against Wlad, he's a good guy. His fans on the other hand, his nuthuggers, well that's a different story. As far is this arrogance....I have no doubt I am smarter than the poster in question when it comes to the topic of Louis. His ******ity led him to make a ridiculous claim that I countered with a fact. How is that arrogant?Comment

As far as debating Joe Louis I am a huge Louis fan and I believe the poster may have been referring to Louis' "The Bum of the Month Club" And because of that I really don't believe the poster was so ****** for posting that even if he was slightly misinformed. I say slightly because there were a few fighters in that bum club that really should not have not been fighting for the heavyweight title. And many articles from the time period did in fact refer to them as "bums." What I don't understand is that you called the guy's comment ****** and never stated why. If you wanted to defend Joe Louis so bad why not just tell the guy he may have some wrong information and then give him the correct facts as you see it.
You also talk as if your facts are indisputable. Well here is one for you. You claimed that Brewster was one and done when he in fact he had more successful title defenses then Page, Berbick, Coetzee, Witherspoon and Pinklon Thomas all lumped together. Talk about one and done's?
And as far as me being a Wlad nuthugger. Well, I will say that I am biased, and I don't have to be unbiased simply because I am just a fan and not a boxing judge or promoter or writer etc, etc. But I will be honest and say that I do see flaws and mistakes with Wlad. One of them is the choice of Chisora as a viable opponent. With that said I don't see myself as a nutthugger just a fan. In closing I will say that with all the facts I am of the opinion that Wlad would have crushed Joe Louis.Comment

What next you going to tell how smart you are? To be honest you are very knowledgeable when it comes to boxing but you sound like a my kids with the "I'm smarter then you..." crap.

As far as me thinking how smart I am....there are plenty of people who far surpass me when it comes to knowledge of this game. But when people make ridiculous claims with nothing to support it I am going to call them on it. And I don't think all my facts are indisputable. But they can all for the most part be logically applied and not many of them have been refuted very well in this thread.
As far as your opinion on Wlad-Louis, I will respectfully disagree. If Haye was able to with stand Wlad I believe Joe would to. I think he would be hurt a couple of times but would manage to step inside the jab and break Wlad down to the body and head causing a mid rounds ko. That of course is just a subjective opinion.
I'd much rather talk boxing than flame any day, but I'll defend myself from people who want to attack me instead of actually sticking to the subject at hand. Peace!Comment
