Amir isn't gonna just stand there toe to toe and let the guy do what he wants ...
the verdict is still out overall about Amir's chin but i think he would flurry in and out on Rios the entire time and make Rios chase him.....
it almost be like the Maidana fight possibly but i think Amir learned a lot in that fight dealing with a heavy hitter and wouldnt make the same mistake
a lot of these dudes are just standing there with rios letting rios get off shot after shot ....even when peterson fought rios i had no clue what that dude was doing, he just sat in the pocket with rios when he could have just outboxed him and used the ring....Comment

Rios eventually will get super KO'd , or all out embarrassed in a match to where he is outboxed heavily , he's one of my favorite guys to watch due to the excitement i do like watching this guy fight but all these guys who just sit in the pocket and trade shots that aint true skills.
it only works but so long, it's a exciting style but one that doesn't keep you on top very long , it will come a go .....
Guys like Brandon Rios and Juan Manuel Lopez , even Maidana...
Without a lick of defense you wont be what people are hyping you up to be, you'll just be exciting , fighters like that all have a moment where they get outclassed by a wide margin or either take a vicious KO.Comment

Rios is not a great fighter so its all about the Matchups and at 140 there are 2 fights that are perfect for his style Maidana and Matthysse he has a chance to beat both of themComment

Rios is delusional, Antillon is not Juan Manuel Marquez, not Vazquez not Katsidis. Take a deep breath. KHAN will out work u in every which way. His hand speed alone will destroybu. Rios is very talented and has the style that makes for a very entertaining fight, but like someone said Antillon is no Marquez or Vazquez. I think Rios has a chance to upset Marquez, but I still would favor Marquez to outbox and counter rios all night long sort of like Katsidis. Vazquez is very underated and his style is all wrong for Rios I think Arum knows this too which is why there havent been any talks about unification since Marquez and Guerrero are occupied atm who else would heir be with a title only Vazquez but still no talks instead Mercito gets his chance to lose his 0.
People here saying he would run through Maidana are pretty dumb, if Rios fights Maidana the way he fought Antillon he has a good chance to get dropped im pretty sure Madiana hits harder than Acosta(who hurt Rios) and Antillon. He also has the chance to beat Maidana but people are making it seem like he would dominate and thats not the case. Only people who give Maidana problems are boxers that use alot of movement. I have a feeling Guerrero is gonna fight like Khan and possibly outwork El Chino for a UD. But that still doesnt mean Maidana wouldnt be a dangerous opponent for anyone. I think he lost to Erik Morales or at least a draw but it is what it is and hopefully we can get that rematch sometime soon.
I know Rios got the balls to fight Maidana and that would be an incredible fight I wouldnt know who to favor. Hopefully Maidana beats Guerrero and him and Rios duke it out in November/December. Me personally id favor Maidana, but if Rios carries his power to 140 and applies crazy pressure then he could easily pull the upset.Comment

Maidana is his type of fight, but I think Maidana might be more use to the weight. It would be fireworks for those two though. Amir Khan outboxes him to a decisionComment
