Alvarado has made little to no noise in his division. Rios is the Champ and most feared in his division. Their in two different levels...Mentioning Alvarado and Rios came out of no wherE?

Rios clowns on everyone...He apologize for saying what he said about roach.
Roach talks the most crap out of anybody...talked about Mayweathers Sr. past crack/drug History...He didn't apologize, not professional at all.

Rios is no puss...He's just a big Azzhole...The more he wins and the more popular he gets...The bigger Azzhole he'll be...So get used to it.

I would look forward to Maidana vs Rios more than ANY other fight right now. Because you know EXACTLY what you're gonna get, regardless.

Best case scenario is the fight is so explosive that they have a rematch, then a trilogy. OMG I just came.

@perra.. Man i respect that your a fan of rios. but you have no idea how strong and physical mike alvarado is. I seen rios fight live against manny perez and that fight couldve went either way. Mike man handles manny and any fighter he steps in the ring with whether its sparring or a bout. As a matter of fact Mikes intinerary for the rest of the year includes a eliminator and a title shot. 30-0 rated top 10 in the world is making alot of noise. Plus mike beat the hell out of carlos molina who just beat cintron and had a draw with lara at jr middle. i hope this fight happens to prove mikes the real deal. im not taking nothing away from brandon but i dont see him beating any of the top guys at 140.

Maidana-Rios is the obvious choice. That would be a good fight. While Khan would box circles around Rios and stop him late. Guy takes too many punches, he wouldn't win against some one who stays boxing. Unlike Acosta did, who was successful when he boxed then got caught up in trading with Rios and ruined his chances of winning.

Guys calm down! Rios gets a win over some journeyman and the whole of NSB is all over his nuts saying he will beat "INSERT ANY NAME HERE", He won a routine defence. Lets not all by into the hype just yet.

but you did take something away from Rios in that you fail to mention

                1. that the fight was when he was a 22 year old trying to get his **** together to the point where he was at the point of going back to Kansas because he mess up so bad

                2. that he avenged that MD with a TKO in 7 over Perez

Mike Alvarado is a bad ass and I won't crap on him to make Brandon look good like you are doing here but at least state all the facts as they lay out not the ones convenient to your argument

You CLOWNS Don't Know Boxing If You Think Rios Torches Maidana & Khan!

It's a bit pre-mature if you think already Rios would step up in weight and "torch" Khan and Maidana. ****** claim to make. Let him "torch" thru aged greats Morales and Marquez first, let him "torch" Bradley and Ortiz next, and provided he "torches" them all, then pit him against Maidana, Khan and Pacquiao. Rios is not Duran, Arguello, or Chavez just yet.

Thank you, He also mentioned Alvarado's win against Molina...Molina was a part time fighter and not fighting at a comfortable weight. He was coming off a Chavez robbery and back to back losses.

He's a full time fighter now and making a lot noise at the 154 division.

Fact is, it's been 7+ years and Mike Alvarado has not fought for a tittle. Dude is 30 and isn't getting any younger.

Fact is, Rios is the most dangerous fighter at lightweight and a WORLD CHAMPION.

He can **** and hang with any 140 in the world. Junior Welterweight is perfect for Rios.

Alvarado is good...but Rios is at a point where he's going to fight nothing but names. Mike is just not on the list. He hasn't done much to earn the right to be on Rios hit list.

You can't even speculate that, he's not even fought a power puncher at lightweight and he's so easy to hit. Are you mad?! Antillon is a guy who wears you down with gradual shots. Acosta a pure boxer... the lightweight division is stale.

140 Is perfect for Rios... what... just silly. I'll believe it when i see it.
