sorry but your man P-Williams is done. if he gets another fight with Martinez, he'll get knocked out yet again. He was a beaten fighter and it's obvious that he has no interest in improving his lack of defense.
this was thee worst gift decision boxing has had in a long time. it's so disgusting. It's not Paul Williams fault, but still, I have no love for him and his team. And frankly, I'm getting tired of his fan base trying to defend this ROBBERY.
I'll say this. I dont think Paul is done as a fighter. However his trainer should be fired. Yesterday. He has the arrogance of Freddie Roach yet his only fighter is Paul. He hasnt taught him anything it seems. Paul is the same guy from the Terry Cauthen fight when I saw him 6 years ago.
If Lara wasnt landing that left hand Lara wouldve lost every round. Its that simple and yet Peterson wouldnt make the adjustments. That was sad to watch at times.
And slow down with the Lara hype. He didnt look that good to me but he did enough to win imo. However we know some judges favor activity and facts are this Williams landed A LOT. Pitty punches....still count.
So again I had it 7-5 Lara and I only want Paul to cme back if he doesnt have that **** head Peterson in his corner.
I would have Im not gonna count him out yet. People said bad things when he lost to Quintana. The rust is off and he got a gift. It very well be a new trainer that he needs.
Williams fan or not...If he truly saw it that way...He just a terrible at scoring fights. Take it that's why you laughed after asking that
Well, it's bewildering that anyone would score the fight for Williams, even with an articulate explanation (because his criteria are flawed).
This furore is a gas, though. Look at BoxerDood's last post - you can feel a spray of spittle coming off the screen just reading it, **** oozes disgust.
I think the 11th round Lara really didnt do anything but land like 2 left hands but I fI remember correctly Paul was kind of taking the roud off it seemed. It as a close round I do remember that much.
I dont know Flick this wasnt like the first Martinez fight where it was clear that both fighters went to hell and back (despite what NSB **** heads say) they went to war in Martinez-Williams one. That was a war that I feel Paul won. He outworked Sergio and brought the fight to his door step.
In this fight it was the same Paul but he just wasnt getting those left hands off like he did against Martinez in the first fight.
I wasn't emotionally involved in this fight. I wasn't hoping to see paul lose like alot of NSB guys here were, nor was I wanting him to win.
To me this fight wasn't as big of a beatdown as these guys let on. It was closer than commentary made it seem. I think the judges were left seeing Williams doing more towards the end of rounds which resulted in them scoring in his favor. It's easy to forget what happened the first 30secs of a round and then you see a guy vanish during the end and a guy staying active the entire round.
I think alot of guys just want to see Paul lose. So they are outraged by this decision.
I don't even think Marquez fans were as outraged as these guys are when Marquez got a draw and a loss to Pacquiao.

lol, I admit though. John may have had it right. I think I may have to watch it again and remember to look more precisely at the defensive aspect of the match as well.
I admit it though. That may be the reason I saw the fight in William's favor.
not johncods, the other john, johncods has sand in his vagina today. normally he is a good guy but he is apeshyt on the williams' decision.
