That's okay. Burner is Burner. Flicker is Flicker. I respect Burner's opinion but I didn't score the fight in the heat of the moment like everyone else did. I had no emotional attachment. I even scored after the fact. I watched and I seriously looked with the intent to score. And Lara just didn't do enough.

I agree with the clean strong punches. But in the later rounds Lara wasn't doing that.

I literally said to myself while watching, "He lands two or three really good shots then he takes 2 mins off during the round. I can't give him the round."

I wanted to give it to him but he wasn't doing enough.

This is a professional fight, not amateur. Lara should have won this. The judges were clearly biased or paid off.

Williams is clearly a different fighter after the Martinez knockout. His punches have lost what little steam they had and he doesn't exude the same intensity as he used to.

As much as I don't think Paul won that fight, or even ran Lara that close, the imp of perversity in me gets a curious, electrifying thrill from seeing this many people so pissed off about it.

            I'm sure it's wrong, but,

No need to retire. Paul Williams is still good. But he lost

No. I think the judges just saw it like I did.

Lara just took too much time off during rounds. I mean, he would land good shots the first minute of the round. Two or three solid shots, then the next two minutes he vanishes. In the middle of a round. I can't give it to him.

I scored the fight today man. I didn't watch it yesterday, so I wasn't caught up in the excitement or anything. About as neutral as you can get.

No reason for conflict on a boxing forum. Just opinions, and conversation. Or this forum will fall apart.

                    I'm sure it's wrong, but,
Not really pissed. I like P-Will...I think P-Will is what every fighter should be...And, that's a guy that gives it a 100% everytime and is willing and thrives on fighting the best guy out there.

However, if you trying to make a case that he won the fight. Then you're just a terrible judge. There's no way he won the fight.

Fact is he got the decision, so technically he won...His career will keep going...Hopefully he doesn't take anymore serious damage. Lara will be fine, he showed he can hang with top fighters. He will get another opportunity at the big time. It is what it is...No big deal, decisions like this happens. Is not the first and it won't be the last.

But, don't come on here -like this idiot is doing- and try to justify crappy decision. There's nothing to justify..

I thought Paul lost by 3 to 4 rounds. Lara was inactive at times but when he did throw Williams was hurt. He wobbled him too much. PWill has a lot of work to do before he needs to get in with Martinez.
