I came in thinking Williams was going to win by decision, but watching the fight I thought he had lost. He didn't deserve to win with that kind of performance, like he regressed from the second fight with Martinez.

Cleaner, more effective punches are better than love taps over 12 rounds.

Lara threw 133 punches rounds 1-3, 142 4-6, 115 7-9, 140 10-12. So what are you talking about with be inactive, only inactive rounds you could say he had was 8(landed 39%)and 9(landed 52%)
          Rounds 1-3 landed at 44%, 4-6 40%, 7-9 48%, 10-12 38%. So again what are you talking about

Is this guy even a Williams fan? I have no idea.

Maybe he really just saw the fight that way?

I agree with your thoughts re. the two fighters, BTW. I'm just finding this whole furore hilarious since last night.

However, if you trying to make a case that he won the fight. Then you're just a terrible judge. There's no way he won the fight.

Fact is he got the decision, so technically he won...His career will keep going...Hopefully he doesn't take anymore serious damage. Lara will be fine, he showed he can hang with top fighters. He will get another opportunity at the big time. It is what it is...No big deal, decisions like this happens. Is not the first and it won't be the last.

I'm not justifying anything. I didn't say the judges aren't wrong. I gave my opinions on the fight.

My reason for Paul winning is that he didn't vanish during rounds. Lara would vanish the last 2 minutes of the round. How can I give him a full round for only being active for 1 minute. rounds are 3.

If you want to get into a name calling fest we can.

You were simply listening to the commentary more then watching the fight. Lara landed really good lefts but alot of them just made a loud sound. Making a loud sound doesn't mean **** unless it hits a meaningful target. A shoulder and a glove isn't a meaningful target.

                Sorry man.
sorry but you're blind. unqualified. wrong. mistaken.

if this fight was a test, you failed.

Paul Williams is done. everything that made him an exciting fighter was not present in last nights fight. He never had Lara in trouble. Another fight with Martinez and his career will be over. shame on you and the judges, because he can seriously get hurt.

                      1- Lara
                      2-Williams
                      3-Lara
                      4-Williams
                      5-Williams
                      6-Lara
                      7-Lara
                      8-Lara
                      9-Lara
                      10-Williams
                      11-Lara
                      12-Williams

                      7-5 for Lara.

                      115-113.

I'll say this. I dont think Paul is done as a fighter. However his trainer should be fired. Yesterday. He has the arrogance of Freddie Roach yet his only fighter is Paul. He hasnt taught him anything it seems. Paul is the same guy from the Terry Cauthen fight when I saw him 6 years ago.

If Lara wasnt landing that left hand Lara wouldve lost every round. Its that simple and yet Peterson wouldnt make the adjustments. That was sad to watch at times.

And slow down with the Lara hype. He didnt look that good to me but he did enough to win imo. However we know some judges favor activity and facts are this Williams landed A LOT. Pitty punches....still count.

So again I had it 7-5 Lara and I only want Paul to cme back if he doesnt have that **** head Peterson in his corner.
