I disagree i don't feel mayweather will knock out ortiz and you can't compare him with hatton because ortiz is a much stronger hitter and can hold the weight better ,hatton was a 140lb fighter and he was taylor made for floid. I'm still not convinced mayweather will win this fight if any.ortiz is still getting better and stronger and is alot younger.

When I watch Ortiz vs guys who pull the trigger, Ortiz looks weak.

Maidana has a chin, but Floyd has a better one.
Floyd won't get hit as much as Maidana and will connect more, even though he has less power, he can mentlaly kill Ortiz. Ortiz hates getting hit.
Ortiz is strong, but ue needs you in front of him. Berto has the worse footwork, in fact he stood on the roles and was vey stiff often. He didn't adjust his feet which let Ortiz go at him, but what is very clear is that Ortiz is always there to hit when he punches. That's how Peterson started to out of him.

Ortiz better work his damn defence or he is getting knocked out. He is very wild, has some speed and skills, but is definitely needing a lot of work.
Errr what???? How did u come up with that? Since when does floyd even get his chin tested, dude never even gets hit. Maidana gets hit all the time, and while he does go down he gets back up. Look, I'm not saying he doesn't have a better chin then maidana, I'd just like to know how u came up with that conclusion.

Why is Roach talking about either Floyd or Ortiz and not Manny or Juan Manuel?

      I'll tell you why.

First, it was a dig at Mayweather's competition. Freddie Roach has to keep the public thinking that WBC world champion is not credible opposition. If people begin to see that Mayweather always fights the best at the point when they are on top, it makes Pacquiao look bad.

So Freddie will say that Floyd can knock Victor Ortiz out despite real fans knowing that since Floyd came up in weight without Victor Conte's help, the power Floyd carried in his SFW days has diminished.

If Freddie Roach begins saying that "Floyd should knock him out" and makes it seem like a compliment, if Floyd fails to knock Ortiz out it will be looked upon as some sort of decline in Mayweather's skills. Roach hopes that Manny will knock out 37 year old Marquez so that he can then say "Well, Manny is knocking his guys out but Mayweather can't close the show."

Basically, its a backhanded compliment that meant to be taken as an expectation. The thing that Roach didn't count on was boxing fans waking up and beginning to use better judgment when weighing the quality of a win. Had Manny fought Marquez 3 years ago and beat him, the win would have been much more significant.

After this fight with Marquez, if Floyd dominates Ortiz or even worse stops him, Pacquiao will be in an even weaker position from which to make demands from. Floyd will be the WBC WW champion and the #1 P4P defending champion in boxing.

What will Pacquiao's claim to fame be afterwards? That he out-waited Marquez until he was ripe for the picking?

Roach knows that Pacquiao's pickings are very slim. I can't think of another fight that anyone would want to see other than if he were to face Paul Williams @147lbs. Possibly Tim Bradly.

Top Rank isn't going to tell the public that they are desperate in a press release. When Roach starts giving interviews saying this kind of **** and one realizes that there are no more than at best 2 matches worth selling for Pacquiao, it becomes clear that they have nowhere else to go. Arum says 5 more fights. Against who? Who will sell? Cintron? Who the fcuk has he beat? Who would pay to see that fight?

Its getting down to the wire folks.

I don't know, maybe the same reason u comment on what floyd can/will/should do. My guess is, and it's just a guess mind u, freddie has seen a few of floyds fights.... I know I know, that's really hard to believe, ur the only one who's ever watched floyd mayweather do his thing in the ring . Listen little buddy, u don't have to be in floyds corner or any fighters corner for that matter to get an idea of what he's capable of. U seem to think u know plenty sitting on ur couch, I'ma take a wild guess here, freddie probably knows a little bit more then u do.

The rest of ur post was equally ******ed but I don't have all day to rummage through cow ****.

If Mosley could rick Mayweather I'm sure Ortiz can as well. If Mayweather can counter him he has a chance to knock him out just like any other fighter who is not feather fisted.

"The weight makes a difference" - Roach

And people wonder why pac/roach agreed to fighting De La Hoya at 147 but then making/forcing Cotto to cut weight for a ww championship fight, then only agreeing to fight JMM at WW...

            Such a disgrace....

Roach is playing mind games and yall are falling for it.

Roach knows that if Mayweather opens up and trades he will get ktfo because he can't hurt Ortiz and Ortiz can definatly hurt him.

I see what your trying to do Roach lol

I thought manny agreed to the random drug test demands???

MICHAEL KONCZ :" Well yeah we agreed to, in the past, random testing as long as when we get tested, he gets tested, up to 14 days"

                QADASHBANYAH:
RANDOM TESTING THROUGHOUT IS WHAT MAYWEATHER HAS STATED, AND IF YOU KNOW WHEN YOU WILL "NOT" BE TESTED THIS EFFECTIVELY KILLS THE TERM "RANDOM".....

I can tell you this it is only so much longer that Manny and co. can hide as they are about to get that azz taxed.... mark my words.... and anyone that is serious, let's bet real money and not some damn e-points. I got a "g" to bet, any takers???

Everyday now the truth is coming out regarding the lies they spew, any manny fans have to be straight peasant ******s.

And in the interview once again Koncz states manny is afraid of needles..... So koncz being mannys adviser talks to the dude on a daily basis.... Why is it that people are saying koncz doesnt know what he is talking about???

AFRAID OF NEEDLES, BUT HAS TATTOOS..

*******S DONT BE BLIND ANY LONGER, GET WITH THE PROGRAM...

If you have points and wanna make a bet hit me up,Floyd will dominate Ortiz...He is tailor made for Money..Dude can not fight off the back foot and he bull rushes..Unless he makes dramatic changes in his game(I don't see that happening)he is in for a beating...

THEY WILL ARGUE WITH THEIR EMOTIONS, BUT JUST AS YOU CALLED IT, THAT IS ORTIZ'S WEAKNESS, AND CONSTANT PRESSURE IS NOT GONNA STOP FLOYD....

Floyd is the better boxer with the better ring generalship as well. He knows where he is at all times, and clearly the smarter fighter. Bull rushing him will only get ortiz countered as mayweathers timing is damn near perfect and he can throw every punch in the book efficiently. You are correct in your explanation "This is going to be a beating"... I know it, you know it, and mayweather knows it as well.

Now some will say, so mayweather is cherry picking... and the truth is that no one has his skill set in boxing so, I dont call it cherry picking when you are just plain better than everyone else technically anyway.

Anything can happen, but we shall see.

                    GOOD ANALYSIS IMHO

So then when Fraud fought JMM at 144lbs that was a disgrace to right? Or is it just a disgrace b/c Pac is fighting him at 144lbs? Can't have it both ways.
