"Boring" is subjective. If he's so bored his old ass should hit the retirement home.

      smh.

Just because he doesn't ****ride your favorite fighter doesn't make it bad.

You can be a marble in the ring. Very technically skilled. And, still be in an entertaining fight.

But, if the **** it's boring. I would like to listen tell me how it is...Than somebody just being nuthuggers because the fighter is on the network they work for.

George Foreman for example was riding Tito Trinidad while Tito was getting his ass kick by Hopkins. I don't want to listen to that. I want to listen to somebody calling it like it is in the ring.

Merchant is the man. Kellerman can't hold his jockstrap right now.

      That is all.

Oh and BTW, Foreman was cool...For comedic purposes...

Why you always got to make this a floyd vs manny thread. Dude didn't even mention floyd, smh.

They on the other hand have learned to try and talk up and make you understand many styles can be enjoyable to watch, from what is perceived as exciting or boring. Only the absolute undebatable boring matches do they ever talk down.
Mayweather vs Baldomir was one of these.

          Great post.

Thats exactly how Larry is. Hes lost his appreciation for the sweet science he just wishes everyone was Arturo Gatti.

Larry is a good commentator but a very flawed ad biased commentator.

I can't stand Larry. He's a ****ty announcer. All he does is complain. Show boxers more respect for putting their lives on the line to entertain us. Dude GTFO!

                  And, where did I?

The only fighters I mentioned were Foreman, Tito, B-Hop, and Page.

                  So yea...

And, Merchant was negative in B-Hop scientific destruction of Tito.

And, that fight was far from a firefight.

                  It was a total schooling.

Don't be mad at me now. Because, I took Jab side on your little beef.

if you have the technical skills why can you not let your hands go? it's boxing...you earn points when you land punches on your opponent and the more you land the higher your chances to win. but of course if you want to land your punches you need to get closer to your opponent and chances are he'll hit you back. and that's what dreads some fighters...they don't want to take so much risk so they just content to potshotting their way to victory. that's what larry merchant hates...which i understand.
