I refuse to sell Floyd short or underestimate him at 154 against Martinez. Floyd is big enough and has grown into that size at his age that 154 wouldn't bother him. Martinez is naturally not a high activity fighter, he isn't hard to hit, and if Floyd fought him that would mean Floyd is every bit as hungry to prove himself as Sergio would be to beat Floyd.

Sergio just fights too much at Floyd's pace for me to say Sergio is a bad matchup for Floyd.

You're not gonna catch me complaining about 154 either.

He's a smart skilled fighter and Sergio made him look like a dumb amature. Ill tell you what though, Ill give anything to see him & Floyd. Infact, Id rather see that then a Pac fight
Id LOVE to see sergio and floyd. But floyd-manny is just too rich for either to pass uP. Any combo of those 3 is fine but i seriouslt doubt sergio will be in the mix, at the very least till manny and floyd get their 30 milly.

What was so special about Dizzy. I still dont get it. He was under sized and slow. Anybody with those characteristics loses to Martinez. But I do like Sergio and think he only loses to FLoyd and possibly Williams by decision. I see everyone counting Pac out but like somebody else mentioned Serg keeps his hands low and speed can capitalize on that everytime. Floyd punishes him with rights and Manny gives him a good go too (though he probably loses a clear decision to Martinez).
You dont see floyd being umdersized vs sergio?
Sergio is long and has the reflexes to lean away from floyd's one pujch straight right. Floyd's had problems with the straight left....

Now, sergio is stronger, more power, taller, just as quick or probably quicker, longer reach, more active. People are too used to seeing floyd wit dramatic physical advantages. Sergio's timing is impeccable as is floyds.
Ill be an erich mofo if floyd ever fights sergio.

Who do you reckon would be the favorite?

                2- Kirkland: Martinez by KO

3- Winky out of retirment: Martinez UD

4-Pirog: Martinez (one way or another)

                5- Cotto: Martinez late KO

6- Abraham if he's about 90% of what he was: Martinez wide UD

9-Pac at 154: Close, but i think Martinez would win eventually

Sergio most definitely hasnt been fighting floyds pace, at least not in the pwill fights, and the dizzy fights. A little bit in the pavlik fight.

People enough of this bullshyt. Martinez isnt Sugar Ray Robinson. God damn.

People are seriously in this thread wondering if Floyd can land his punches? Or get inside? Or that he might go into survival mode? What in the ****. Since when is Floyd Billy Dib?

Martinez would find in about a round or so that Floyd is no Pavlik or Williams. QUICKLY.

Sergio can have his hands down against guys hes faster than. Hes not faster than Floyd.
Sergio have found the face first brawlers VERY easy to hit. Floyd..not so much.
Floyd will realize that Martinez is EXTREMELY easy to hit.

Floyds straight right hand down the pipe makes it ugly. People are overrating thr hell out of Martinez. He isnt anywhere close to Mayweather skillwise and he damn sure aint outboxing him.

                    Enough.
