  • I don't think he had a choice BUT to address Pacquiao. Fight Hype released a 34 min video with Mayweather pretty much addressing everything, but you can also see how far he's going to justify himself, for instance:

He goes on to ask this reporter if he think Floyd can go up to Heavyweight to fight the Klithsckos, the guy says no and ignorantly Floyd says "Ok THANK YOU!" insinuating how Pacquiao went from 106 to 147. Then he's trying to pin Pacquiao and the Barry Bonds scandal together and the same reporter tells him it's totally different circumstances and mentions Balco while Floyd kinda just sits there like "...ummm...ok...:" then proceeds with the ****** Klitschko remark.

My thing with him is, he's always trying to shine a better light on himself to make it seem like his **** don't stink. But c'mon dude, Floyd cannot sit there and clown Pac's victories and look at his own last 4 yrs in the sport along with all the other **** he puts himself out on with his personal issues and expect the media to be blowing him like Fight Hype. Kudos to him fighting Ortiz. It's not gonna be his toughest fight (I don't think), but IF he's about really making a last run before he retires this could be a step in the right direction. His demeanor though seems of someone who's looking at the end of the tunnel already, but that's just me.

I am also going to drop the demand as a display that manny refuses to prove whether he's clean or not."

you just don't want to open your mind...stop crying, all these floyd fans that say "anything floyd does, everyone will complain about" are so fn short sighted. floyd has given people plenty reasons to shi t on him in the past, PLENTY, but there are plenty of things he can do that will garner him props from everyone.
Why should he drop the demand? Because you say so? What if he is legitimately concerned?

      • how is floyd money mayweather going to win a pr battle against pac. pac is loved all over the world, a guy that came from nothing and and through boxing has enabled him to become a politician trying to help the poor.
and may i add never failed a drug test.

Floyd is just floyd, full of contradictions.

We are having an adult conversation here, wrong thread.

            Amazing.
Everyone likes to blame Bob but the smarter boxers all left him. Bob works for Manny, not vice versa. And when Manny doesn't like something, he has Bob change it. So I blame Manny first and foremost for everything taking place now. He did, after all, say that HE instructed his American lawyers to pursue a defamation case. And what do you know? Now he's saying the fight can't happen while the case is ongoing. A case which, by the way, he ramped up as soon as Floyd announced his comeback.

There are plenty of Filipinos who are horribly embarassed that their countrymen were ****** enough to elect an uneducated guy who gets punched in the head for a living to a political office. No matter how much they love Pacquiao as a boxer, his election is an embarrassment to many Filipino citizens.

Regardless, Floyd asked for a test and Manny kicked the ball over the fence and ran home. Since then, he's taken nothing but ****ty fights. i just never endorsed that.
again, you're wrong, i know exactly what burner's saying. he's saying that manny put an off the wall stipulation in that floyd agreed to because he knew he would come in at 147 and not have to pay the 10 milly, so he thinks that if manny was clean he's agree to take the test because he knew he was clean.

is that right? That's what I thought.

                  now:

manny had a legit reason for adding his stip, floyd just shi tted on jmm's chances by not even trying to make the weight the previous fight, therefore the perception of that stipulation is that its legit...

not so when you demand ost out of the blue and you KNOW that it's going to kill the fight.
