everyone is pretty much cool face to face.....floyd does do charity work as well BUT I think I should have left it at speaking publicly...

I'm talking about when he tries to sell fights and talk himself up on camera, you know what I mean. not when he's meeting fans individually or signing autographs.

Knowing and understanding are two different things. Some fights aren't worth picking. I've seen him re-state it at least twice in this thread so maybe you don't get it. Maybe you don't want to.

Bob isn't the only one to blame. At some point you have to stop blaming the man's promoter and start blaming the actual man himself. Bob Arum doesn't sign Poochie's name on the dotted line for him...Not just blame Pacquiao and Bob but Team Pacquiao aswell. Let's remember, Bob Arum isn't any type of match maker. Freddie Roach is the guy who gives the okay for Manny to fight so and so because he obviously thinks he can win.

You can't just blame one man when his entire team is also at fault.

when do you feel Denzel earned the best male actor award?

It's about earning it, and imo Denzel did just that in training day. If you don't earn it, your skincolor doesn't matter. (hollywood do have way less interesting leading roles for black people but thats another discussion, and hardly on topic)

I also think what they have done well in regards to the whole media war is that they have always waited until after Pacquiao has chosen anyone but Floyd before Floyd makes his oppoenent choice - this makes it appear that Mayweather wants Pacquiao first and foremost and only looks at other choices once he is out of the picture.

What makes Team Pac look dodgy is that they a) refuse random testing - I don't care who you are, if you refuse testing you LOOK su****ious

            and

            b) Arum/Manny's next opponent let's slip that Pacquiao's next opponent is pretty much already signed before his previous fight is even completed.

I don't believe Pacquiao is scared of Floyd or vice versa, but what annoys me is that Pacquiao seems content to just let Arum call the shots. **** Arum and if these guys really want to give the fans what they want they would get in a room and thrash out terms on this fight, I am sick of Arum lining up opponents for Pacquiao, that aren't named Floyd Mayweather, before Pacquiao has even fought his previous opponent!
this is a great post.....i argee. i have no idea why arum publicly maps out manny's career...we've know he's going to fight jmm next forever. again, another way floyd is winning the chess match but I overlooked it...

were talking about philipine politics here. politicians bribe their way to office and steal money not doing **** for the country, can you honestly tell me that you would prefer a dozen of those type politicians than a dozen pacquiaos.

come on dude eduction is important but what we need in the philippines is politicians with compassion and drive.

Thats the key to the fight. Floyd didnt ask for the tests because he was afraid or wanted to kill the fight. Its about ensuring hes in a clean fight.

The SAME way Pac is ensuring that he wont be in a fight where a guy comes in over the limit.

Some people want to separate the demands they are essentially the same thing.

what you need is logical and intelligent politicians that base their decisions on logic and economy and not some fairytales in the bible.

what you're not seeing is that none of the cutoff date or anything like that matters.... the particulars don't matter in this case, everyone percieves floyd as having used the OST to get out of the fight....

my stance is that it was a bad business move.

especially when you and your family constantly publicly shi t on manny's skills and chances vs floyd in a fight....and when the majority of people favor floyd in that fight

But why did he have to be one of the most sick, foul, disgusting characters in movie history to win it?

Trust me man. Its sad but its true.
