I just can't agree with this justification. Its either wrong to propose things outside the the established rules and procedures of the state commission where you fight or its right.

i agree with you on that. but they werent talking about the rules of the commission necessarily. This was more like changing the details of the contract whereas drug testing would be changing the rules of the entire states athletic board.

if you ask a billion dollars per pound thats business not the state commissions problem. whereas drug testing is a much bigger issue

Being poor doesn't make you ******, but It's a big indicator. Intelligent people will often find a way out of poverty using logic and creativity.
I'm not sure if Pacquiao is ******, there would be no way for me to judge it. He is however uneducated, and most likely not the guy that pull the strings on his career/image. If he was, he wouldn't need Bob Arum.

ive studied negotiation...

huge egos egos, plus false accusations, plus publicly defaming your opponent, plus introducing something which the sport already has methods to combat, plus timing= no ***n way they're going to accept it on the first go around. (remember this is the first legit opponent in many peoples mind that floyd could have fought since '03)

listen dazed, we aren't going to agree on this, you are looking at it from a pro mayweather/anti doping crusader perspective (which no one was for the most part before this fiasco). you absolutely refuse to acknowledge anything else... you use the same arguments but they just aren't valid when you take into account perception and negotiation principles.

you can't just all the sudden play the "for the betterment of boxing" crusader card for floyd, its all bullshi t. maybe if floyd had a rep for being a stand up guy you could possible have an argument that could be argued.
