Infamous emails sent from Team Pacquiao to Team mayweather

I doubt very much the NY Daily News would publish an article like that without fact-checking. That's pretty serious.

The NY Daily News among others don't necessarily have to get "facts" in order to publish a story that's based on someone else's allegations. The NY Daily News nor any other legit company have published any evidence presenting these emails as "truth". Fighthype (who seem to be in Mayweather's pocket) are presenting facts as far as when stories were published, but they're not going out saying "These emails are REAL!" as much as some may think they're insinuating anyway.

No publication - especially one as large as the NY Daily News - would dare out a source. That's pretty dumb. One, you alienate a source forever. Two, that source no longer becomes a source because (guess what?), they'll be ostracized from getting nay info going forward as they can't be trusted. Take a look at any newspaper - half the stories in their are sourced to...sources! The Daily news isn't out to "prove" something. They are just reporting. If someone feels that it's false, there is a way to get them to out their sources. Ironically, Manny is doing that way yet purposely left them out.

Wow you really sound foolish. All the BS crap aside, Bob Arum was a justice department lawyer when Kennedy was president. He knows you can sue the GBP, Mayweathers, and Schaeffer for little or no blowback. But you can't accuse ESPN or Daily News of the same thing when they have highly skilled legal teams that don't allow things to get published or put on the air without knowing the company wont be exposed to danger.

But I lean toward Yes there were because Manny nor Top Rank has filed suit against ESPN, ATlas, Tim SMith, or the Daily News when what was reported was FAR WORSE than anything the Mayweathers, GBP, or Schaeffer siad about him.

I don't really care, to be honest. I got all I needed to know when Manny sued 800 people and left them out. BTW, one of the charges Manny brought up was accusing Floyd of telling Smith that. Why then wouldn't he bring up a charge to journalist for publishing that? Weird.

are you nuts? the "source" can actually reveal himself on his own...he doesn't need to go through smith or any media personnel. if you have the goods why not bring it in the open? why keep it secret forever if it will help you win your case? floyd and his family has been hurling accusations towards pac even without evidence...here's a very good one and they wanna keep it a secret? where the **** is your logic?

How would that defend him? The case is about whether Floyd called Manny a bad name. Showing emails won't disprove that.

You are asking a different question. I can't answer why the emails, if they exist, haven't surfaced. If they have evidence why not show it already, can't answer that either. But I can speculate. You ever play poker?

When you have a good hand do you throw down a large bet, perhaps scaring off others or do you bet small and draw the opponents in to get the pool bigger so you can win more?
