Dirrell fought on his back foot, using an effective jab and moving, Lucas pressed but both dominated where it matters most, the punch stats and damage. If you awarded Lucas the victory there is no excuse why Andre shouldn't of won either.

I'm an American and I think Froch beat Dirrell and that Matthysse beat Alexander.

It was a very popular topic and argument defending the Froch nod at the time. Everyone seemed to think ring generalship was the key to winning a boxing event the week after following the fight and disregarded everything else. Now when Lucas wins(yes, he won ring generalship) a close fight the whole argument changes to clean and quantity of punching.

I think you read my post wrong. I wasn't saying Devon was landing clean and crisp. I was saying Andre was landing clean, crisp, and more quantity of punches against Froch. Dirrell clearly beat Froch but people used the excuse that you have to clearly beat the hometown fighter to get a win. Now it has changed once Lucas does the same thing.
