It's pretty clear that only certain rules apply to certain fights here.

There is no doubt that this site is full of people that hate the United States and the people that live there. Last nights fight is just another example as to the hatred and the bias of many posters on this site.

Most argue that Lucas won his fight last night because he landed more and landed the harder punches, right? Yeah, that's the argument BUT the same people arguing that statement were the same people DEFENDING Carl Froch when he was awarded the victory against Andre Dirrell. Post after post was made saying you couldn't win that fight, in Frochs home, that you have to clearly beat him. Well, the problem is Dirrell did exactly what Lucas did last night. Not only did he out land Froch but majority of the heavy punches were also landed by Dirrell. The double standard still exists and part of me wishes Americans still cared about boxing. Most of you Europeans wouldn't even watch boxing if that was the case because your fighters would be looked at as stepping stones, and you wouldn't be able to **** ride.

i dont go by who lands more. i score the fight rd by rd and add it up. imo alexander lost. and imo dirrell lost too. i dont like devon at all but i kinda liked dirrell. i liked him a hell of a lot more then i like froch but i think he ran too much instead of fighting when it was crunch time. im not too high on andre anymore.

He ran but still landed more and landed the crisp, more effective blows. It wasn't pretty but if you go strictly on who landed the better shots and who dished out more punishment, Dirrell won and won pretty easily. Each round was close and in majority of them Dirrell edged Froch and did slightly more in most. He may of ran for 2 and a half minutes each round but those 30 seconds he did more than what Froch was able to do in 3 minutes of chasing.
