Bernard Hopkins had already stopped him.

Pacquaio ended Hatton's career with one punch, Ortiz certainly has power but he couldn't get shot smaller fighters like Nate Campbell out of there.

Pacquiao's straight left >>> anything Ortiz can offer

... although Ortiz may be physically stronger (e.g. in a clinch he may be stronger than Pacquiao because he's heavier). Make a thread about that eh?

Of course Manny hits harder. The question isn't who can bench press more. I don't think Ortiz could seriously hurt Margarito or Mosley and we all know what Pac did to them.

Manny's power gets somewhat overrated because of what he did to Hatton, I would say Ortiz is more likely to knock you out with one punch and has more power then Manny. Manny's throws more punches and it takes toll as the fight goes on

only a ******* would think Manny has more power

Ortiz punches harder with his right, Pacquiao with his left, Pacquiao is consistently the harder puncher throughout the fight. As a whole I'd say it's pretty even. Ortiz is dangerous in the first half.

I'm no *******, but I don't think Ortiz hits as hard as Pacquiao. Ortiz hasn't taken out really anyone worth mentioning with 1 shot, so I don't see how that can be thrown in the equation, as with Pacquiao you can, but then it's construed as overrated?

Pacquiao is the harder puncher. It seems like every fight hes in, all he has to do is land and it's over.

There is no way Ortiz could have hurt Margarito the way Pac did. Pacquiao wobbled him multiple times and busted his face up. He didn't even look like he was in the same shape as usual. The pac Mosley fought was so fast.

Ortiz is the harder puncher, he has consistently put opponents on their asses with one punch. That being said Manny is the faster more accurate puncher.

other then the Hatton fight all of Manny's wins above 126 were either decision or a late round TKO which means a corner or a ref stoppage because of the accumulation of damage Manny did through out the fight.

Manny is a heavy hitter no doubt but he doesn't have the one punch knockout power
