You're not using your brain. The case was filed months ago while Floyd was still on vacation. The court decides the schedule. Why did Floyd suddenly decided to end his vacation and fight Ortiz after the trilogy between Pacquiao and Marquez was announced, and why did Floyd scheduled his fight close to the anticipated court schedule (it was twice postponed before).

the courts don't decide the schedules though...the lawyers get to select dates that fit into their schedules.

Seems like since the Cotto fight, Pac and crew have been announcing his next fight within hours of the fight he just fought. Secondly, Money and Pac are probably never gonna see eye-2-eye on the USADA testing. So as long as Mayweather sticks to his guns that USADA testing is gonna be used in his fights and Pac sticks to his guns that he needs a window where the deterrant of the testing is eliminated, there isn't gonna be a fight. Lastly, when looking at who's ducking who, I like to look at the fights they've taken since this soap opera started. Pac has definitely fought more. But, Pac seems to have strategically selected his opponents moreso than Money. Where Pac has kinda fought the right guy at the right time. Mayweather seems to have generally fought the next best guy available. So its Mayweather, not Pac who seems like he's down for whatever and whoever and Pac and crew seem to be trying t select the right guy at the right time.

Floyd is news in the same way that Sarah Palin is news.
They are no longer a real threat and engage in acts and commentary that inspire the news cycle to remember them.
They both know how to milk the individual cash cows of their entertainment pursuits.
But most directly, they each have big mouths that spout hate and then hide when asked to defend their ******ity.
Floyd is more like a damaged politician then a fighter these days.
