NO YOU don't know what you're talking about. A discovery, as it's sometimes called, is part and parcel of the legal system, and precedes every trial to try to winnow out the facts so that the trial itself will be eventually found to be actually neccessary or not. After the facts which are going to be presented in court are revealed under oath to the opposing sides, their counsels will further advise if they have a chance or sgould try to settle out of court, or give it up altogether.

This can save an enormous amount of court time and was originally devised so as to be able to cut down on the huge amounts of litigation which were swamping the courts.

They cant get anythang out of Roger and Sr.
"Roger and Senior" must be worth many millions. Just because they look like nothing, doesn't mean that they are.

At the end of the day, I can't understand why Pac won't agree to the testing. Mosley did. Ortiz did. It seems like the only people who are making a big deal of it is Pac and crew. I know, I know, he "already agreed to the testing." But what his follows fail to mention is that he still refuses to agree to the testing without a widow where the deterrant is eliminated. From where I'm sitting, I would really like to know why he needs a window where he can't be tested. The testing may be a pain in the ass. But, now two Mayeather opponents aren't making nearly as big a deal of it as the supposed P4P King. So excuse me if I think Pac is suspect. Maybe not suspect of using. But definitely suspect of not wanting to "test" himself against the biggest threat to his supposed spot as the best fighter in the world.

Exactly. I find it hilarious that none of Floyd's fluffers notice the irony in this...

“People should be smart enough to realize that he’s in the middle of legal proceedings. His focus and energy is on that, clearing his name, not on making a fight. That’s just common sense," Schaefer said.

“Anything else would be disrespectful to a judge or the legal system. … He could say, OK, let’s fight Pacquiao in May or whenever and make a deal. How would a judge feel about that? You just don’t do that.”

Funny that when a fight with Manny was discussed, Floyd couldn't do it because of his legal situation and scheduling a fight would be disrespectful to a judge and the legal system. But when the name Victor Ortiz comes up, all of a sudden the court cases don't matter and Floyd shows his respect for the legal system by skipping a court-mandated deposition.

It goes both ways.. Nobody has a problem fighting Manny not taking the tests except for Floyd...

Of course.. that was only two of the many possible reasons he was taking time off from boxing. Not only did this dude schedule a fight during his current legal issues.. but he straight up ignored the court order.

You're right. So, it basically somes down to what you personally believe in. Me personally, I'll take any drug test, how ever many times because I don't use illegal drugs. If your personal stance is difference, I understand why you would be on Pac's side of the arguement. My stance is simple. People who don't use drugs don't have a problem with drug testing of any kind.

Well, you see, KID, I spent years both in law school and in a law office in my young days. Admittedly is was in another country, but I then lived in Canada for many years, and was involved in very many legal proceedings of my own, or more. I always seemed to have something going on, and the procedures, whilst slightly different, as is the US legal system, were basically the same. All English speaking countries have the same basis of Laws and Statutes, with deviations according to the different needs and traditions. Much judicial decision is made based on legal precedents, always keeping within the spirit of the Basic Laws under which the whole Judicial System works. The Parliaments and Congresses of the relevant countries also pass Bills which then proceed into Law. Many European countries have their legal systems based on the Code Napoleon, for which he has received little appreciation from posterity. i could go on.....and on... but what's the use. I've tried to make it as simple as I can.

If I were as ****** and as ignorant as the vast majority of the posters here, I'd jump off a bridge.
