Why is Ward so overrated?

Im not the biggest fan of Ward, but you cant even compare opposition between him and BUTE.. Bute, has yet to beat anyone of significance.. Hence, more Kayos..

Ward brings it, even tho hes painful to watch sometimes.. Ward has fought good opposition and looked impressive

Ward is not overrated, he gets a lot of **** on these forums.

Before the Super 6 i watched all 6 fighters last few fights, i took one look at Ward and knew he would beat Kessler and go on to win the tournament and i still stand by that. It was clear as day to me that he had all the tools to do it. He is a class above most in the division and just because he doesn't get KO's doesn't mean he's boring.

Loads of people on here were ****** and picked Kessler to beat him when they hadn't done their research, they were just going off their current reputation.

He's not overrated,

He has beaten the tornument favourite, getting into the final being a huge underdog before hand.

Beating Arthur Abraham on the way which is a solid win.

How is Ward overrated he has won fights where people thought he would lose and has never really looked like losing any of his fights in one of the toughest divisions in boxing. Guess if you don't KO everybody you don't deserve to be on the P2P according to whoever started this thread.

So because you find a fighter boring, they are overrated? Ward is not overrated, he is building a great resume and winning all of his fights. You could argue that he is underrated right now because people still keep him out of the top 10 fighters in the world. He hasn't beat Bute? Who exactly has Bute beat?
