Why is Ward so overrated?

He Leaps when he punches and barley ever gets KOs ( Unlike Froch or Bute )
1 KO in his last 7 fights and 1 stoppage.
He never fought Froch or Bute but Ward is automatic top 10 P4p!

I don't care if he is American, British, Canadian, German, Brazilian, Spanish, Italian, French..... well you get the point but I think he is overrated because he is American. I am American. But I wont overrate an American fighter. I hate Super middleweight P4P lists. Until Froch vs Ward. Don't rate either one.

To the bold, he is fighting Froch next, so that point is irrelevant. He dominated the guy who beat Froch, and is competing in the Super Six where he has been magnificent. He isn't automatic top ten p4p, but for those who have him there like myself it's obvious why he is. And lol at even mentioning Bute.

Why is your only criticism that he doesn't get knockouts? Since when does that determine who is a good fighter and who isn't? What about him do you think makes him overrated? Knockouts have nothing to do with that, so what else?

he is not, he is one of the best schooled and disciplined young fighters out there right now.

He's overrated in the sense he shouldn't be rated in the pound for pound lists yet. His talent is obvious though. We'll know how good he really is after the Froch fight.

If anything he is underrated, or at least underappreciated.

He probably beats Hopkins, Froch and Martinez, and yet he gets less love from the media and fans than they do, at least as far as I can see.

Most would pick him to beat Froch, but to me it seems like Froch is more liked by fans in general, the people who write articles here and elsewhere, and by Showtime commentators. JMO of course.

Overrated huh??Consider this,he came onto the supersix ranked low,beat the favorite,not just beat Kessler but dominated him,who then went on to edge out Froch.I like Froch & they're fighting next,so if Ward is overrated he'll lose,but if he wins,are U gonna sit there & honestly say Bute is better??

Cause he's one of every fight since he was like 12. I personally don't care for him, but the rating is warranted.

At the end of this year he'd have wins over Kessler, Froch, Abraham, Bika, Green and Miranda. And his career is just starting, that's the scary part of this resume. This is like the sneak preview of things to come, and he's already being called overrated and shit.

If any one is overrated, it's Carl Froch. An SD in his hometown, lost to Kessler, defense is shit. Watch what Ward is gonna do that bum.
