    Its true though.

This whole "haters" thing has spawned a generation of sensitive puusies who cant take criticism.

Sergio is my favourite non-UK fighter but Ive already been called a "hater" for criticising his decision to fight Barker. Its lame.

Well I did, and plenty others on here did as well. My god it really wasn't that huge of an upset. Nobody is popping anything after the fact. This could very easily be proven by using the search function.

      OK.

But, then why is he fighting Barker next?

Yes he does. But, you do know that he's fighting Barker next right? He was willing to fight Zbik right?

But, Martinez is fighting Barker next. Has Barker beating guys that are better than Jacobs? Hell has Barker beating anybody who's as good as Jacobs?

You would have a great point if MARTINEZ WASN'T FIGHTING BARKER NEXT FOR GOD SAKE'S. Martinez choosing and willing to fight someone like Barker and ignore Pirog constantly makes your moot point.

So since it's Jacobs>Pavlik and Pwill.

That must mean Pirog>Jacobs>Pavlik and P-will.

Which by your logic means Barker>Pirgo>Jacobs>Pavlik and P-Will.

            Great input

Nope. I never really been that big a fan of Pacquiao for some reason. Dunno where you got that impression.

From what I've read Barker has a far bigger following than Pirog and along with that HBO apparently is allowing it so there must be a financial angle. Coming from a promoters perspective why fight Pirog now when its a far bigger fight after a few more or even a couple of more fights? There's not too many money fights from 154-160 so the smart move is to carefully calculate each move. Pirov will be more lucrative with a couple more fights.

                      You have read wrong sir.

Barker is the least known UK prospect in the U.K

And, is not known at all in the U.S.

Hell Pirog is more known in the U.S than what Barker is.

                      And, that's saying a lot.

Barker doesn't have the fan base that will follow him.

Dirk tell me if I'm wrong but in terms of popularity in the U.K isn't Haye>Khan>Froch>Brook>Cleverly>Degale>Groves

And, I don't think Barker is even in the equation.

But, I'm not from the U.K so who knows.
