Why would he stand a chance against Floyd? Peterson can't break wind with his punches and yet somehow broke Ortiz's will. Do people really think Lamont Peterson is a top level fighter? Lamont Peterson may not be as good a fighter as Andre Berto but he is certainly a much much better counter puncher.

If Berto had those kind of skills he would have given Ortiz much more problems than he did.

I would agree Ortiz has improved since Maidanna but I would have to disagree he is a different fighter compared to his fight with Peterson.

I struggle to see the difference.

Ortiz looks a lot better at 147 it might be safe to say he was probably weight draining himself to make 140. He looks big even for WW in fact didn't he weigh like 160 against Berto on fight nigh?

Gee you ust love my coment about boxing being more global. You need to ask this question how would Armstrong due today ? He fought a bunch of weak ***ish guy. He fought open swinging haye makers. Take someone like Duran Chavez Sr. Actually I think the 70's and 80's had the best boxers

Peterson got a gift draw so your arguement is pointless. I can see you never boxed cause wieght draining your self hamper your performance.
