Bull**** Arum, If Ortiz was a pushover, then Pac would have jumped on him.

Ortiz is dangerous, moreso for Pac than for Mayweather, but he is definitely a live dog..... I firmly believe that there is no way in hell that Pac would ever have fought Ortiz, no way in hell, especially not before a Pac/May fight.

As usual, you are full-of-**** Bob Arum.

If you gave Ortiz more opportunities to build his market appeal you could still get money from him even if he loses to someone like Mayweather. Fans thinks Ortiz is ready just because Floyd picked him. Floyd picked him cause he's green and unproven that is all there is to it.
You fkn ignorant clown. Name a fighter who is more qualified than Victor Ortiz to fight either Pac or May?

Ortiz is CLEARLY the third best welter on the planet.

That asss-wipe Arum publicly stated that Mayweather would never take a fight with a stud like Ortiz. Boxing will be better off when he retires or dies.

Arum needs to STFU. He's created this environmet of protecting supposed Champions with easy match ups and over hyped stiffs the way he has guided Manny, Gamboa, JuanMa, Nonito, and JCC Jr thus far. Or he makes them jump divisions to whip on paper champs like he is asking Cotto to do again. Unlike the TR fighters listed here, Ortiz won his belt and is stepping up to the plate and testing his skills against a P4P fighter. Arum is simply trying to justify his actions with Jr.

But dont get it twisted...GB is doing the same thing with Canelo.

If Ortiz isn't ready for a Mayweather show down then i don't know when he will be.

Ortiz is regarded the 3rd best Welterweight just behind pac and floyd. He is a world champion in that division. He's ready for the big fights just like Trinidad,DeLahoya, Hearns, and Tyson were at his age.

Old man is making no sense now, Marquez is making more money? Duh.

And from a boxing stand point it makes perfect sense. Now from a business stand point, it may not make sense if you're trying to protect your fighters like Arum does. Thats what he really meant. Trying to be slick and just exposed himself saying this.
That is the first video that came up to my head when I read the title.
