That's Arum style of babysitting and protecting his fighters and then they lose to fighters that are not even that famous or regarded as top quality opponents (Salido>Lopez) Ortiz is a WW champion who beat a WW champion for the title. Let him fight the best win or lose and get his respect they way it used to be. Bob is always putting fights off so he can capatilize off of the names but as soon as the guys get in the ring with someone hungry and determined they get beat. Young fighters should get it on early. Look what happened to Lopez, Kirkland, Berto and many others who kept taking the easy route and still wasn't ready for a challenge.

You're talking nonsense. Fan "repurcursion" as you call it, is shown in the cash receipts. He doesn't put on Top Rank shows as a charitable gesture for the fans who hate him anyway, he makes money from the shows. Both for himself (Top Rank) the fighters, trainers and all connected with the promotion. All coming from his brain.
