smart choice: Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.

who wants to pay $65 beat down and "possibly" retire back again, unless your diehard floyd fan its an exception. Regular fans IDK.

Who cares what these ESPN guys say anyone who has a shred of knowledge about boxing knows Mayweather-Ortiz is a good fight and probably the best available at 147 outside of Mayweather-Pacquiao

Kind of strange from Romey Rome. Rome is a boxing guy and has been following boxing for a long time. Hell, dude was at Foreman/Moorer. He obviously doesn't follow it as hardcore and is leaning towards what his bosses tell him but I'm a bit surprised by this.

Rome used to be all over floyds balls and then some. He's done a crap load of interviews with him over the years. If u ever listened to his show he used to drop a bunch of floyd one liners in all the time, **** like "I keeps a private jet" and "step yo game up".

Then he dared ask him a tough question once about how he could really think he was the GOAT and floyd responded with something like "opinions are like ass holes, everyones got one and they all stink".

After that I think jim lost a lot of respect for him. It wasn't like a loaded question either, money just handled it all wrong.

I'm glad though, I'm a big rome fan and I can't stand floyds antics.

Not really, I mean it's not a bad fight but it's definitely not the fight the world has been waiting for. I think father time has just caught up with the whole situation. No one is really buying into the ped testing argument and the vast majority of people pretty much lay all the blame for the fight not coming off at floyds door step. People are just tired of waiting. No one that I know of, hard core fan or not, thinks ortiz stands much of a chance.

Anyone on ESPN talking about boxing is just nonsense at this point.

Saying Hopkins' win wasn't that great because 'Pascal was a stiff who had no chance' was the last straw for me. If they start to talk boxing, I change the channel.

Do people actually take Rome seriously?? I don't understand all the hype with rome..he's just a bobblehead for espn.If anyone actually thinks Floyd or manny Are scared of one another than watch Rome lol..I feel like they've been stirring the pot for a longtime..The Mosley fight should tell the story of mayweather pacman..pacman couldn't do much of anything to an old Mosley...and people still think he could handle Floyd..Floyd is 10x better than Mosley in his best days..not trying to the but that fight told the tale plain and simple.
