Possibly, but they probably don't want Bute to catch a loss before he can fight the Super Six winner.

He would have to sit around for that fight, which i can;t imagine him wanting to do.

Since Hopkins just had two recent fights against Pascal in Canada in front of sold out arena's i think Bernard would earn Bute more money than the super six winner.

That would be a dishonest move by Hopkins. Dawson stepped aside for Hopkins-Pascal II to happen with the condition that he gets a spot on the undercard and gets the winner.

I didnt know the details of the contract or any agreement they may have but Hopkins already beat the man who beat Dawson so imo this fight may not be worth the risk to Hopkins legacy.

You lack reading comprehension, because I already said if a guy lacks discipline that is their fault and whatever they get is on them. It doesn't bother me if a dude gets busted for pot though that isn't cheating the game.

Dawson can fight a lower level of guy than B-Hop and get away with it because one he isn't a legend just a top fighter, two he is cheaper and three he has more to prove. Looking impressive is one way to the top and that was what HBO was trying to do with Berto.

Bute got big money from Showtime, so he will be beholden to what they want. Beating the Super Six winner then B-Hop is more than getting beaten by B-Hop and then having to rebuild.
