HBO will favor the fight they want nothing more.

If they can't get it they will not want to play ball unless there is a reasonable alternative.
That's right. Dawson is HBO's guy and will do ask HBO has asked as HBO does what HBO wants b/c HBO plays hard balls. HBO would have less leverage against a boxer who made history and is in some top 10 p4p list. What is your point? If HBO paid Berto some 1 million dollar to fight a nobody, I do see "REASONABLE" alternatives for other fights.

He will do whatever he feels he should do~

HBO will do whatever HBO wants, Hopkins isn't that big a deal to HBO he is not long for the sport. Sure they want to show his fights but only the fights they want to show and the only one they would want currently is Dawson~

Hopkins ain't going to be allowed to fight a nobody on HBO~ that isn't how it works Hopkins isn't an up and comer he is a known quantity so there is no value in showing him fight a nobody.

People don't realize Pascal was just hyping up the fight with his claims. He doesn't really believe Hopkins is on PED's, he said it himself.

If Pascal was serious, he would have asked for OST's to be on the contract, not saying it in press conferences when the fight is already signed.

Yeah but Hopkins has the option to go to Canada and fight Bute on Showtime in front of a sold out house. Where does Dawson go without Hopkins?

Also keep in mind how that makes B-Hop looks which is important to him, Dawson asks for testing B-Hop blows the fight up over it. So he takes less money to fight a less risky guy.

            Not a good look~

Which would hurt B-Hop every bit as much as everything else. All B-Hop is is boxing so if he gets questioned over that all he is is an ex-con who did alright for himself~

Sorry that you can't see that

I'm sure they would like Bute even more, but they'd have to cut a deal with Showtime.

Possibly, but they probably don't want Bute to catch a loss before he can fight the Super Six winner.

He would have to sit around for that fight, which i can;t imagine him wanting to do.

That's right. HBO WILL MAKE Dawson fight how HBO wants as Dawson is not a young buck anymore.

Right, it is a lot of value for an up and comer to fight a bunch of nobody and paid $1million. Again, you are applying YOUR own standard. You don't know how HBO works and you don't know OST standard. Not that I am an EXPERT in OST standard. But POT is against OST (GOLD) standard. LOL

That would be a dishonest move by Hopkins. Dawson stepped aside for Hopkins-Pascal II to happen with the condition that he gets a spot on the undercard and gets the winner.

I don't think Showtime would do that because the Bute-Super Six winner is bigger for them. Then have the winner fight B-Hop, to me that is how they would want to play it.

I don't think B-Hop would want to wait around like that though especially while the iron is hot now.
