I consider BHOP a level below them.
Not even Joe Calzaghe, the megalomaniac that he is, agrees with this bull**** assertion. Calzaghe's greatest, most impressive win was against Jeff ****ing Lacy!

Hopkins wins over Echols, Keith Holmes, Eastman, Joppy and Wright were all better than Jones and DLH, although I thought the Wright win was a little bit controversial.
He was the first to knock Oscar out, so you have to give him credit for that. However, I agree about the Jones fight.

It's more the fact that he was 46 years of age, and can still beat the #1 in the division.

eh. I always thought DLH threw the fight, not that he really had a chance to win anyway, but that wasnt a real KO. but I guess thats up for debate.

I still dont give Hopkins much credit either way, he has a lot more going for him than a very blown up DLH that would have lost pretty much everyone at MW.

i find it hard to rate him over pac. but lately, beating pascal to me is better than all of pac's wins since cotto.

with that said, its become obvious to me that he is higher atg wise than floyd and im officially penalizing rjj for fighting when he has no hope. hes embarassing his legacy idc what anybody says.

It sure was one hell of a body shot.

The strength of Hopkins' victory is in his age and the fact that he claimed a legitimate world title, not the fact that he beat Jean Pascal. Pascal's name being added to his resume is nice and all but if you weren't claiming Hopkins as generation's best before last night, you shouldn't be now based on that win.

Yeah ok,act like it's that simple ts.It's not only that he beat Pascal.
He did it at 46 years old.
He did it against a real champion.
He is now 2 time champ at lightheavy.
But before that,he was the most dominant middleweight of his time.
                    20 title defenses.
All of his losses were controversial.Outside of Jones & his 1st fight.
Most of his big fights he was underdog, but dominated the favorites.
