Don't get me wrong, good win and made history but against who? One of the worst light heavyweights of all time. Pascal has terrible stamina, is mentally weak, bad boxing skills, etc. I don't think his chin is even that good. he got hurt many times by Hopkins last night and Hopkins last stoppage was against De La Hoya in 2004. He has looked so bad everytime he's stepped in competition. He lost to Carl Froch, beat an overrated Chad "I spar in every fight" Dawson, got a draw against Hopkins, who should've lost that one as well and finally last night lost.

An overrated win but good nontheless but to call him this generations fighter when you got Pacquiao and Floyd in the same generation is absurd to me.

I think people feel that way because of everything he has accomplished and still may accomplish. Last night was just adding onto his already amazing record, that is as good if not better than anything Floyd and Manny have done.

Joe Calzaghe, Manny Pacquiao, and Floyd Mayweather are the fighters of this generation.

I consider BHOP a level below them.

Manny beat Oscar and got the FOTD and the most annoying sport groupies of all time putting him up there with the ATG.

        get over it

          what are Bernard's best wins?

that can compare with the ATG's Barrera, Morales and JMM

Bernard wanted no part of Dawson when he was champ but jumped on the opportunity on the obviously flawed Pascal.

Pascal isnt that good of a win, its mostly just the fact that Hopkins at 46 can actually still defeat top fighters in his weight class regardless how crappy they are.

I certainly consider Hopkins wins over Trinidad and Tarver to be better than the Pascal win.

Let's see what Manny, Floyd and the other best names are doing when they are 46. What Bernard is doing is something that has never been done and he doesn't even look like slowing down. That is one of the many reasons Bernard is getting the credit he deserves.

Now, I don't think he's the single best fighter of the generation, he's up there with the best of them though.

                  *Kelly Pavlik

                  *Oscar De la Hoya
                  *Felix Trinidad
                  *Glen Johnson

DLH and Jones were not good wins, just nice names. neither of them were any good when he fought them.(DLH was crap at MW and should have been 0-1 there).

Hopkins wins over Echols, Keith Holmes, Eastman, Joppy and Wright were all better than Jones and DLH, although I thought the Wright win was a little bit controversial.
