why does Cotto have so much heart and is a warrior by getting up from knockdowns from a ****ing bum, but Wladimir is a punk and garbage after he gets up from knockdowns from a real boxer like Peter??

No matter what he does Cotto is superstar. If he gets his ass beat by some bum, "oh damn Cotto never quit, hes a huge Warrior", Cotto gets hit so hard that he falls down and dies in the middle of the ring "damn Cotto is such a warrior he rather die than quit."

Cotto is not worth mentioning anymore. Hes not a good boxer, he just knows how to get his ass off the floor and KO bums. Theres no difference between Cotto and Camacho Jr. or Bojado.

Cotto would not beat none of the top welterweights or Jr. Welterweight out there, except Mussa.

It is pathetic how some haters seem to only see the bad and ignore the good. Miguel Cotto has been facing solid opponents in his 5 year career and although he has faced some adversity lately, he has made adjustments to take the win. His record of 25-0 with 21 knockouts is one of the best out there and those who say he has no skill are idiots talking nonsense. Cotto is not perfect, but those who have been following for the last couple of years(like myself) know that the guy has boxing ability and power. What was he missing perhaps? Heart, but after his fights with Corley and Torres he has showed lots of it. Give Cotto a break and stop assuming. "Hatton this, Mayweather that". **** Hatton and **** Mayweather. It seems that you overhype these guys because of someone else's performance. Judge Hatton for what he does in the ring, not for what Cotto may lack. Don't change opinions every minute about who is better. Stay true and show some appreciation for the sport. Stop these wannabe bandwagons because those are truly ridiculous.

they are just talking about how he has gotten chin checked in the Corley fight and this saturday's fight, although they seem to forget he won the both of them by KO(although Corley's wasnt actually a KO) which means that he can stand up from a knockdown to win figths which is a quality that alot of figters lack.

ok let me refrase that. Cotto is not garbage, but i dont see no reason for so many post about him, either hes so great (by every PR) or that hes so garbage. He hasnt fought anybody good, and hes struggled with one journeyman in Corley and a bum on Torres. Now people posting how much courage and heart from fighting a bum!

Cotto gots a lot of potential but I dont think hes ready for the big fights in the 140-147 division, in the Corley and Torres fights it showed that both of these guys were very capable of beating Cotto. In my opinion they both might have KOd him if Cotto didnt have that extra weight to help him take those shots, but I also think Cotto could have outpointed both of them if he fought them with correct game plan by using his power, hand speed, extra weight and boxing ability to box them instead of just trading with them. If he were to fight Mayweather, Tsyzu, Margarito or Zab like he fought Corley and Torres he would get flat out beat.

do you apply that opinion to roy jones, mayweather and benard?? considering the fact that early in their careers, none of them were fighting the elite either! He's still just a kid, but by all means, lets throw him in with the finest before he's had a chance to grow and learn..the same chance they ALL get! What kind of logic is that anyway?

another thing, youre acting like he was supposed to fight Torres. He was a last min. substitute, remember. alot of fighters would have just rescheduled instead of taking a risk against somebody they didnt train for, and somebody that hits like a ton of bricks..but lets not mention that
