It is pathetic how some haters seem to only see the bad and ignore the good. Miguel Cotto has been facing solid opponents in his 5 year career and although he has faced some adversity lately, he has made adjustments to take the win. His record of 25-0 with 21 knockouts is one of the best out there and those who say he has no skill are idiots talking nonsense. Cotto is not perfect, but those who have been following for the last couple of years(like myself) know that the guy has boxing ability and power. What was he missing perhaps? Heart, but after his fights with Corley and Torres he has showed lots of it. Give Cotto a break and stop assuming. "Hatton this, Mayweather that". **** Hatton and **** Mayweather. It seems that you overhype these guys because of someone else's performance. Judge Hatton for what he does in the ring, not for what Cotto may lack. Don't change opinions every minute about who is better. Stay true and show some appreciation for the sport. Stop these wannabe bandwagons because those are truly ridiculous.

I'll say this Cotto did show alot of heart with corley and torres. Although in torres he showed , in that fight atleast, he doesn't keep focused during a fight. He was lucky that he won, he could have easily out pointed him I believe because the boy does have skill and pure ability. What I don't understand is why risk getting seriously injured or losing the fight when you could easily and safley win it. Also on Hatton and Mayweather, I'm not one who says they'll win because cotto is weak in....I say they'll win because Mayweather is better in every department other then power, and Hatton will apply too much pressure, i think, for cotto. This isn't a flame so don't yell please or im gonna have to violent

If you have a problem with what i said about Cotto in my thread (which was really the first cotto bashing thread) then oh well, bad mechanics wont get you far with elite fighters, and if i didnt like cotto as much as i did, i wouldnt go out of my way to say something in hopes that maybe his corner will see this **** and correct it. So what if people are bashing him, in boxing, people get bashed win or ****ing lose. Its all good.Comment

Great post ex!!! Karma coming your way (if the damn thing will let me) I love cotto to death and was very impressed with his heart, chin and determination! But, youre talkign about a forum full of tito haters, and cotto is from P.R. too so I dont know if theyre even seeing him when he's in the ring. Cotto has alot of talent and skill, therefore he doesnt need to go toe to toe so much...atleast we now know that when his bravery gets the best of him and he gets hit, he can take it.Originally posted by Exciterx22
