deigo still insnt a great "boxer"(in terms of pure boxing skill, not his overall talents as a fighter), like i said before, he is a boxer puncher. after recently watching the freitas fight, i conceded that he was being outboxed by freitas until he knocked him out.
since 2000, diego has won ONE fight by decision, just face it, hes not a great "boxer" and never has been.
He's only had problem with Corley & Torres. Both guys he knocked out. Who else???

Watch the second fight with Cas or the Fratis fight, he can box a little now.

I dont know how many of these fights Cotto needs to have, or weather hes still learning or whatever, after as many fights as hes had, he needs to step up his game and fight somebody whos on his level or possibly better. Im with PBF34 when it comes to his comments about RJJ/Mayweather etc. Those guys never got slammed like that, and even if they did, they stepped up their competition before questions could surface about being "protected". What i saw from Cotto was unimpressive, heart or no heart, that performence was just not very good in my opinion.

            hahaha "A LITTLE"
if he could have boxed a little agasint floyd, he still would have gotten his ass whopped, but maybe he would have only gotten knocked down four times instead of five.
freitas is a better pure boxer than chico
corrales always has, and always will, rely on his power before his boxing skills

exactly! with his improved skill and goosens help he beat casa the 2nd time around, and I dont think he would have otherwise.

I'm a big fan of Corrales, since hes first fight with Casamayor, only since the Castillo fight has he become popular and overrated, cause nobody gave him a chance against Castillo...whos been KO'd three or four times at lower weights...

Yes Goosen was the man that helped Chico. Again I agree with everything you say about Cotto. Also for a young man, he's beaten enough good fighters. I don't know why so many people on this site are bashing Cotto.

corrales was winning/about to win the first fight agasint cas. had the fight been allowed to go one one more round, deigo was on the verge of knocking cas out, i think he would have done it

You are good with the spin IWATCH, you make it sound like Castillo has truly been stopped like he was in the Corrales fight, the fact is that he lost on cuts.

Sure he was stopped but a stoppage on a cut and a stoppage by the ref because your are getting pummeled or you dont get up is different.

                      Nice spin though.
