it will be fair fight with martinez if he(pacman) is comfortable making 150-154 in weigh-in. maybe a year or two years from now on (usually the more aged fighter he more weighed)
but rightnow he can only make 145 in weigh-in. so rightnow is something like this:

CW 150--- disadvantage for martinez
154---- disadvantage for pacquiao
so the fight shouldn't be made

But maybe by next fall, Manny will be comfortable weighing in at 148-150 and rehydrating a couple of pounds, then a fight at 154 might be feasible. But Sergio might not be able to make the weight then, not even sure he can make it now... even though he says he's contemplating going back to 154, which would be smart since there's slim pickings at 160 right now.

Ortiz does absolutely nothing that would bother Pac, everyone has already forgotten this is the guy who was beaten like a drum into submission by Maidana and drew with Peterson. One win over an overrated tomato can killer doesn't bring you up to Manny's level. Horrible mismatch, would result in Ortiz's very early retirement.

I don't think pac fighting Sergio is totally insane, when he beat Margs pretty bad who weigned 164 pounds in fight night and is actually taller than Sergio. Tomasz Adamek in his last four fights has beat guys who weighed more than 60-80 pounds in his last fights, and he started out as a Light Heavyweight.

I wouldn't mind if Pac fought good welters as Mike Jones, Kell Brook, or Bradley, he probably would beat them all, but atleast they are not a 40 year old fighter simply trying to get a last big payday and put people to sleep. If he wont fight Sergio than i would hope he fights people like the names i mentioned.

Actually, I want to see this fight. Sergio Martinez vs Manny Pacquiao at 154lbs. Cotto moves up and leave his 154 lbs belt then Martinez and Pacquiao can fight for it. After this I will watch Pacquiao fight another softy which is Zab Judah. Zab Judah is a good name to have in anyone's resume. Judah was once a lineal champion and a unified champion of two divisions. So, Judah's career is not something to make fun of. Also, it'll be a good retirement pay for Judah and another money making scheme for Pacquiao and Arum.

Manny said he might be retiring 3 years from now back in 2010. He fights 2 times a year for 3 years equals to 6 fights in total.

- Juan Manuel Marquez is 2 - 2011

The fighters I want Manny to fight are these boxers below:

- Timothy Bradley is 3 - 2012

Timothy "Desert" Bradley will be 28 years old by this year. So, moving up a weight class should be a welcome relief for him because 140lbs is not really a natural weight for him at his age and it will ease the weight control problems and probably make him stronger with extra weight to consider. He might lose speed but he was never known as a boxer with fast hand speed.

- Sergio Martinez is 4 -2012

This I want to see only in a Dream Match way like how Manny fought De La Hoya and Antonio Margrito. I think Manny's end of the year fight are always the hardest ones looking at his record. De La Hoya at the end of 2008. Miguel Cotto at the end of 2009. And Antonio Margarito at the end of 2010.

Only reason why in 2011, Marquez is the final opponent is because of the unfinished business between the two fighters. I think for Marquez it is a personal issue. I have no problem with this fight.

- Zab Judah - 2013

I already mentioned the reason above why Manny Pacquiao should fight Zab Judah. Regardless of how low or high Judah made himself, he was and is still a great fighter who can compete at the elite level.

- Brandon Rios or Mikey Garcia who are moving up in 2 years. - 2013

I just threw these names here, it can be anyone. I just think Manny Pacquiao should fight a younger fighter to pass the torch kind of thing. If GBP and TP don't have the feud in 2013 Maidana or Ortiz are good boxers to pass the torch too.

Also, Manny in 2013 will be 35 years old. He'll be the same age as Oscar De La Hoya at his last year of boxing. Manny said Oscar is his idol and him being superstitious I think he will follow Oscar's decision to retire. Well, that is just my opinion. Or if God willing Pacquiao fights until the age of 39 years old just to one up Sugar Shane Mosley. HA!

Being young is not a skill, there is nothing Ortiz does that would bother Pac even a little. He's the same heartless fighter he's always been and would quit after being pummeled to the ground. Bradley is at least mentally tough but he has feather fists and if the fight isn't stopped because of his ram head, he gets stopped brutally.

Don't know why you guys are so eager to see your favorite 'young lions' mauled and retired in their mid-late twenties, but you'll get your wish sooner or later.

u dont understand, im a pacfan. i know vasquez jr is stopped last saturday, i watch juanma getting beat last month. but that is boxing you give young lion a chance to prove. pacman mind is not full in boxing anymore, his speed is decreasing(believe me) and ortiz mentality is level-up after berto. i mean the fight is not rightnow or anything, arum can make the fight next year after marquez fight and ortiz beat chalengger one or two.
