I like Gomez as much as anyone but I am not sure Trinidad doesn't have the better resume

What? Cotto has a better resume than tito. Unlike most people on here I back up my statements with facts. Cottos 18th fight opponent was 17-0 trinidads 18th fight opponent was 4-7. Cotto faught 7 less fighters than Tito but cottos opponents records combine for more than 100 wins. IMO Tito was great but a lil over rated. He look like crap in his losses even in his win against Oscar. At least Gomez and cotto gave it all in the fights they lost.

Boxing fans love the knockouts and Tito was a knockout puncher. That's why people love gomez sooo much more then the defensive wizard Benitez. Tito though fought hard bro and never stopped coming foward even if he looked like ****. Can't ever question that. ****** with the bigger bhop til he got dropped and still got up but smogger stopped it. He never let up vs winky either. He just got jabbed to death. Lol even though he was getting ouboxed by oscar and looked suspect, one punch could have changed it. Something like khan vs maidana. Chino was losing til that right landed and he almost got a ko and tightened up the scorecards cuz khan lost rds 10, 11 and 12.

I think the greatest Puerto Rican fighter in history was Carlos Ortiz... Easily. Like, I wouldn't even see a valid argument against that statement. Most people who disagree do it because they haven't seen him fight

Gomez was a beast. Was watching some of his fights and man could he throw down. Funny cause he fought like a Mexican. Relentless and always wanted to brawl. His fight with Pintor was crazy, those two guys had nothing left and still went at it. Gomez was able to pull it off in the end, amazing because it was all heart. His loss to Sanchez was bad, but I give him credit even with those two huge mouses over his eyes he kept fighting. Heart of a lion. Trinidad has to be in the running for the best in PR for what he did in winning championships in different weight classes, who beat in his career and the length of his undefeated streak.
